Parliament's Ad Hoc Committee – investigating allegations of criminal infiltration, corruption and political interference in the justice system – is facing yet another deadline, while working on its draft report. It is in the process of finalising a draft preliminary report, of nearly 800 pages. With a looming deadline of 11 September, there is still a lot of work to be completed – including sending the final draft to affected persons for comment before the final version is tabled in the National Assembly.
