Parliament dismisses NEHAWU allegations of attempts to suspend secretary, Xolile George,  before the end of the 6th Parliament term

Chairperson of the KwaMaphumulo Taxi Association Sphamandla Mhlongo says the Cator Manor police were altering detention warrants when arresting the Kwa-Maphumulo Taxi Association. Speaking at the Nkabinde Enquiry into Advocate Chuake's Fitness to Hold Office, Mhlongo said his association members were being killed by Cator Manor Police in conjunction with rival taxi association.

Sergeant Fannie Nkosi, known as Witness F, testifying at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry, says businessman Matlala asked for his bank card, claiming he needed it ahead of meetings with Deputy President Paul Mashatile and General Sibiya. Nkosi admits he mistakenly omitted this detail in his earlier statements before the commission, calling it human error. Under questioning by Advocate Chaskalson, Nkosi denies protecting Mashatile and maintains his version of events before the commission today hearing.
