Forensic investogator Paul O'Sullivan has told the Ad Hoc Committee Investigating Allegations of Corruption, Infiltration and political Intereference in the police that Advocate Michael Mashuga lied under oath at the Zondo Commission to help shutdown investigations into corruption allegations against General Khomotso Phahlane. Answering committee member Khusela Sangoni, O'Sullivan alleged that Mashuga was part of the efforts to defeat the ends of justice in the North West police investigation into former Acting Head of Police General Phahlane.
