Newly-released Statistics South Africa shows annual consumer price inflation increased from six-point-nine per cent in January to seven per cent in February this year. Newly-released Statistics South Africa figures show CPI increased to 7% in February

Rand Water says high water consumption by some municipalities is placing severe pressure on the supply system. It has repeatedly urged customers to reduce usage and help stabilise supplies.  The water utility warns that municipalities exceeding their allocated water volumes may face supply restrictions. This could result in low water pressure or intermittent water supply in affected areas. Rand Water spokesperson is Makenosi Maroo
