The National Director of Public Prosecution, Advocate Shamila Batohi has defended the formulation of the new Corporate Alternative Dispute Resolution, insisting that its main objective is to encourage corporates to report themselves in cases of alleged corruption. Batohi's assertions follow criticism against the initiative as corporates corporates in the country can now opt for the C-ADR with law enforcement agencies in order to avoid criminal charges. Advocate Batohi engaged with media practitioners earlier today insisting that this initiative will enhance accountability.
