The uMkhonto weSizwe Party Caucus in the National Assembly is heavily divided, after some members called for party's President to remove Chief Whip, Colleen Makhubele. The MPs accuse her of unilateral and undemocratic decisions, as well as ideological betrayal. They also accuse Makhubele of descending the caucus into a state of dysfunction after she and Caucus Leader, John Hlophe removed Spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndlela from the whipery of the party. Hlophe is also reported to have written to Zuma allegedly complaining about the alleged disrespectful conduct of Ndhlela and Duduzile Zuma-Sambudla.
