Mhlauli says government programmes are opening pathways for young people into the economy.

Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Nonceba Mhlauli, says government is creating multiple pathways for young people to enter the economy. She says the Youth Employment Services programme placed more than five-thousand young people into workplace experience opportunities during the first quarter. Mhlauli says the National Youth Service recruited nearly three-thousand young people, while the NYDA provided more than five-thousand enterprise support opportunities to young entrepreneurs during the same period. Mhlauli was ealier briefing the media on the release of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI) Quarterly Progress report
