Eastern Cape police have launched an investigation into the causes of two separate car accidents, which claimed the lives 17 people since. In the first incident 14 people were killed when two vehicles including a minibus taxi collided on the N9 route, outside Graaf Reinet. In the other incident a car and a van collided killing three people and injuring two others wounded on the R-61 near Bizana yesterday.
