The Horizon Chrome Mine in Rustenburg has dismissed over 140 of their employees who staged the underground sit-in last week in Tlhatlhaganyane near Rustenburg. The workers were demanding salary increases and better working conditions. They say an entry level underground employee earns about R6 500.00 a month, which they say does not match the work done and dangers faced underground. Employees say the mining company's action, depicts its utter disregard for the interests of their workforce. Sentleeng Lehihi compiled this report.....
