 Home Affairs Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, has welcomed the Free State High Court's judgement, dismissing Dr Nandipha Magudumana's urgent application with costs. Magudumana wanted the court to declare her arrest, in Tanzania, illegal. She is among the seven people arrested for aiding and abetting murder and rape convict, Thabo Bester, to escape from prison. Motsoaledi says Magudumana's release would have been an injustice.

Others however, are hopeful that the information provided will help open doors to entrepreneurship and economic opportunities. National Assembly Speaker, Thoko Didiza, says there's an urgent need for security within the Parliamentary precinct to be heightend further. Parliament confirmed over the weekend that a man in his 30s was apprehended after unlawfully entering the precinct compromising secuirty. Both the Speaker and her Deputy Dr. Annelie Lotriet held an engagement with the Parliamentary Gallery Association, on various issues regarding Parliament. Abongwe Kobokana reports...
