The committee says engagements are underway between the Department of Home Affairs, SAPS, refugee representatives, and the Southern Africa Refugee Forum. undocumented nationals are being requested to present documentation for verification as authorities seek to resolve ongoing status disputes and restore stability amid rising tensions in affected communities in Durban area.
