Finance Minister, Enoch Godongwana has decided to withdraw the exemption of Eskom from the Public Finance Management Act. Godongwana appeared before Parliament's Standing committees on the Auditor-General, Finance, Public Accounts, Appropriations and the Public Enterprises Portfolio this morning. He says they are suspending the decision following a meeting with the Auditor General to have further consultation with the auditor-general and Eskom's auditors.
