Former President, Thabo Mbeki, has called on delegates at the Cape Town Conversation, to come up with meaningful results, to promote the agenda of the Global South. The conference is taking place in Somerset West, outside Cape Town. The two-day event, organised by the Thabo Mbeki Foundation, and the Observer Research Foundation, is a platform to serve as a meeting place for voices and stakeholders of the Global South. It will facilitate issues of global governance, where new challenges, possible solutions and a map for the future are discussed.
