National Coloured Congress leader and Member of Parliament Fadiel Adams is today expected to be processed at Durban's Westville police station. Adams was arrested by the Political Killings Task Team in Cape Town. He is facing allegations of fraud and obstructing the ends of justice in connection with alleged interference in investigations on the murder case of ANC Youth League leader Sindiso Magaqa. Adams is set to appear before the Pinetown magistrate's court for fraud and defeating the ends of justice, SABC reporter Zanele Buthelezi.

Various organisations including the Xolani Khumalo Foundation and the Tembisa Community Forum have taken it to the streets marching against undocumented immigration. The march follows growing concerns over undocumented immigrants and allegations linking some foreign nationals to criminal activity. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to  SABC News reporter Horisani Sithole.

The Independent Electoral Commission says young citizens can engage in participatory democracy through various means, including assemblies, demonstrations, petitions, and through direct consultations and elections. The Presidency says president Cyril Ramaphosa is applying his mind to the DA's request to have its deployee, Agriculture minister John Steenhuisen removed from cabinet.  The party wants the Fisheries, Forestry and Environment minister Willie Aucamp to replace Steenhuisen. The DA also wants Western Cape Education minister, David Maynier to take over Aucamp's cabinet position. The party also wants Gauteng Member of the Legislature, Jack Bloem to take over as deputy minister of Water and Sanitation from Sello Seitlholo. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to a Political analyst Professor Andre Duvenage.
