The eThekwini Municipality's multi-billion Rand integrated public transport system is set to commence later this year after 16 years of delays. Mayor Cyril Xaba announced that the city has resolved disagreements with taxi operators, allowing for the city to start rolling out the Go! The Mathebula family from Homu 14, A village near Giyani in Limpopo is in mourning. This after the discovery of the body of the 28-year old, Vutomi Mathebula in the Kempton Park in the Ekurhuleni Metro in Gauteng. Her decomposed body is among those found dumped in the area. US ambassador to South Africa, Leo Brent Bozell III says America will not release the names of South Africans who will be affected by the visa restrictions. Accordingly, the US state department plans to imposed this visa restrictions on government officials and South African civil servants, who shape the land expropriation laws. This also includes those, who continue to promote the "kill the boer kill the  farmer" song. Analysts expect the Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Committee to increase interest rates by a quarter of a percent when it announces its decision on Wednesday (23 September) amid inflationary pressures and uncertainty due to the ongoing US-Iran war.  The expected hike is also supported by elevated levels of inflation which currently sits at four-point-three percent, a figure above the bank's three percent target rate.  The policy rate is currently at seven percent, while the prime lending rate is ten-point-five percent.  Naledi Mabitsela-Ngcobo reports...
