Eskom board member Dr Claudette von Eck has told the Parliament Standing Committee on Public Accounts that it is untrue that the board forced former CEO Andre de Ruyter to cut short his notice period after he spilled the beans on corruption but that he chose to leave when called to explain the utterances. This as Eskom 's Acting CEO Calib Cassim and members of the Eskom board are visited by Scopa as it has been visiting this morning to Eskom's headquarters Megawatt Park conducting a second leg of its oversight visit, as they started yesterday by visiting Tutuka power station in Mpumalanga, They continue today with their Gauteng oversight and hearings into former CEO Andre de Ruyter's graft allegations at the power utility.
