Gordhan says stage six is having a devastating impact on households, business and the entire economy. The minister says in a statement that the frequency of rolling blackouts is to some extent attributable to malfunctioning within Eskom's systems as well as sabotage. Gordhan has appealed to law enforcement agencies to have a stronger presence at power stations across the country. Meanwhile... Sakina Kamwendo spoke to energy expert, Ted Blom and SABC UK correspondent, Laura Isherwood
