Employment has dropped by 21-thousand in the formal non-agricultural sector in the first quarter of 2023. Stats SA has published its latest quarterly employment statistics bringing the level of employment to almost 10 million. The survey showed that 97-thousand jobs were lost between March 2022 and March 2023.
