The drama could be positioned in a township, a suburb, or a village to explore and speak on challenges ordinary citizens go through. At the end of it all, they triumph, and these stories aim to inform, educate, and entertain the public.

Advocate Dali Mpofu for the MK Party in the Western Cape High Court, where President Cyril Ramaphosa is challenging the findings of the Section 89 Independent Panel report. Mpofu says the President must answer to South Africans through Parliament over the Phala Phala matter. He argues that unanswered questions about the foreign currency found at Ramaphosa's farm remain central, saying the President cannot be "saved" until he explains what the dollars were doing there. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to SABC news reporter Yamkela Mtshiyo

The National Energy Regulator of South Africa has gazetted the consultation document for Eskom's proposed 8.8% electricity price increases for 2027.
