The Economic Freedom Fighters protest is underway in the Western Cape. The protesters are chanting slogans and singing struggle songs amid a heavy police presence. The march comes in the wake of a recent taxi industry strike against the impoundment of vehicles by City of Cape Town law enforcement agencies. The Acting National Commissioner of SAPS, Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane, says police will leave no stone unturned to identify and arrest those responsible for the deaths of women in Gauteng. This follows the discovery of a fifth body today. Dimpane has also extended condolences to the family of 38-year-old Elizabeth “Tsontso” Moselakgomo, whose remains were positively identified at the Germiston mortuary. One suspect remains in custody in connection with the first body discovered in July.  Sakina Kamwendo spoke to the family spokesperson for missing runner Elizabeth Moselagomo, Dawn Gounden, who is also attached to Renegades Search and Rescue.
