The department of international relations and cooperation (Dirco) has sent a specialist team to Israel to negotiate release of six detained South African activists. According to DIRCO , the team met with the South African delegation at the Negev Israeli Prison facility and has also confirmed that the detainees are in good health and in high spirits. Meanwhile, the family of the late South African Ambassador to France Nathi Mthethwa , hopes that his autopsy will be released soon so that the repatriation of the body can be finalized.
