COSATU has welcomed the fall in consumer inflation to 4.3% in July from 5% in June, but warns workers remain under severe financial pressure from rising living costs and debt. It is also urging the Reserve Bank to avoid raising the repo rate and government to restore fuel levy relief for commuters. Matthew Parks is COSATU's Parliamentary Coordinator
