The flyover has gone viral with many spectators initially questioning on social media if the surreal footage was artificial intelligence-generated. Airlink says no safety regulations were violated and the flyover had the approval of the South African Civil Aviation Authority. The experience has since prompted people to express concerns on social media and online forums, with some raising questions about the safety of the flyby.
