Seven learners who witnessed the murder of Shaun Mphela from Geluksdal Secondary School in Ekurhuleni have dropped out and gone into hiding after receiving death threats. This is according to online publication Scrolla Africa. Mphela was stabbed to death outside his school after an altercation at the school. Speaking to the publication Scrolla Africa, parents have raised concerns about the safety of the learners after receiving the death threats. A 35-year-old man has been arrested for the murder and will appear in court on the 24th of this month. Sakina Kamwendo spoke to one of the parents who wishes to remain anonymous .
