You got lebron I just found out yesterday that he had he had an m c L injury. That's why he did. He wasn't playing up up to Paul and everything. Now again it's surrounding Luca and his effort on a defensive end, and everybody's looking at Nick for making his trade and saying, now Nico knew what he was talking about. Pla delusional fan. I'm a delusional fan. I'm always gonna be a delusional Lebron fan. Lebron could be fifty and I'm still gonna think he got a chance because I've seen him do so much great stuff. But at this point in his career, he needed a consistent second and third scorer around him, and Austin Reeves just didn't show up these playoffs this series and that really.
Man, he was disappointing this playoffs.
Yeah, and it's like I don't want to see any more summer highlight footage of him working out. Austin Reeve said he was him, that's his words. Austin reed said, in that Memphis Grizzly series a few years ago, he said, I'm him and in this playoffs, this first you know, this first round matchup, Austin Reeves looked like Doug McDermott. He looked like Doug McDermott out there. It was a regular guy. And Lebron at this age, in this stage in his career, he can't depend on his third guy and his role players not showing up. But I will say shout out to Ruey Hotcha Mora. Really Ruy showed up this series. So I feel like this summer it might be unfair, but Ruey I feel like he should stay. You know, I feel like he's he's safe, he's untouchable. But I feel like somehow, some way his trade value went up. You know, his trade value went up. So if you're Milwaukee, which would you take Reeves and more.
For Jannis in a trade deal? Trey packets.
No, No, that's that's tempting. I mean, you're gonna have to give multip picks up. If Michael Bridges can get all the first round picks that he started, I mean, it's interesting for sure.
That ain't enough this summer. This summer, I want to see Luka Donich. I want to see Luca get with the Navy Seals or somebody this off season.
I said him to a couple of days ago on social media.
Y'all know that the Navy Seals guy that's on TikTok, it's real famous, like David Gawkin. Yeah, yees, yeah, we need to see We need to see Luca lock in with a guy like that. We need to I want to see Luca come back.

I believe that he will, man, I really, I really do, because he's going to have to pressure change physically if he wants.
To pressure plan for the Lakers. It's completely different than playing for the Dallas Mappers. Look at how many dunk way Luca had his rookie year. He can't even I mean, he get a wide open dunk. He laying the ball up and he's six seven.

Like you're we probably won't see Rudy Gobert have another game like this this season, let alone maybe even in his career unless somebody else makes the same mistake of going small thinking that that won't happen. What Why did JJ Reddick not try to neutralize Rudy Gobert in a close out game when they were clearly getting.

I apologize, I apologize a couple of days ago to Jackon Hayes. I apologize Jack to Hayes because if I was coaching the Electors, you would have got some run because there's no way I'm gonna have an athletic seven foot guy who is a lob threat. He has shown that with Lucas so far, he's caught gereby lobbs. He's still a vertical threat. He can block shots, he can rebound. Yeah, he's not he's not a star. He's not a starting caliber center. But you can't tell me this regular season stretch Jackon Hayes then contribute to the e Leakers being a three seed. And you watched Rudy Garet. Rudy Gobert looked like Will Chamberlain in Game five. There's no way I'm gonna watch this. Rudy Gobert of all people, get twenty seven and twenty four on me and'll lost.

Josh Hart runs into Tim Hardaway junior, clear foul, no foul. You watch Dylan Brooks touch Jimmy Butler on his mid section shooting a three, it's a foul. What is going on with there's no consistency with officiating. We can even go to the Laker game, Luca gets tripped by Jade McDaniels down one. I believe it was twenty seven seconds left. If they aren't gonna call these fouls, do you believe in the last minute of the games you should be able to challenge anything, because.
If Detroit gets that call, they're probably still playing.

It's definitely something fishy with NBA officiating sometimes when I'm watching NBA games, I mean, you go to games, You've been around grassroots basketball. You got kids and sons that play ball, so you've been around au circuit, right, you see how bad it is with some of the referee and right officiating. When I watched the NBA now, I really feel like I'm still watching like grassroots officiating.
Like I'm about to go get some of that today NBA games now.
And it's like, I hate to say this, I hate to be a conspiracy theorist, but we've seen the Tim Donaghy story. We've seen the stories of referees that were money laundering guys out here. You know behind the scenes, you don't you don't really know as a fan, and I hate that we have to feel like that where we feel like there's a lack of integrity when you're watching these these out The bottom line is I want to see the players that side the game. In the NBA playoffs, I want to see the players decide it, like let Im and Thompson guard Curry straight up without because look at the gold to State Warriors, how many illegal screens they're setting.
So it's like.
They called a fou all the ron elbowing or shoulder and his own player in the head upside the head. I mean there's a there's a few teams out there that's moving and stepping through the picks. I mean that's that's become pretty pretty commonplace.
I feel like it's like tjs probably feel the same way. It feels like you're watching w W rattling, like it don't seem real.
Sometimes, like certain games they let you play in like contact is cool, and then certain games they call the foul. Certain games and then late in the game all the holding and grabbing that was cool early on, it's no longer cool.
I mean, it just doesn't make any sense.
They yeah, hey, Coup, let's switch gears right quick man to the Golden State and the Houston Rockets series. And I know me and you had agreed on this before the series has started. At that the experience for the Golden State Warriors would win this series.
But tell me if you agree with this. Man, I'm looking at this game last night.
And it looks like to me that that GP two Gary Payton Jr. Can't guard Fred van Fleet, who we had on the show. I think that Steve Kerr Man needs to make some adjustments.
He needs to give up some size.
Kavon Lewy only played two minutes in that game last night. Listen, in the words of the Great Charlie Murphy, this uh uh, this guy, this guy sing Gun send sin Gun, that kakenball.

I think they need to take Jimmy Butler off of Thompson and let him guard Fred van Fleet and find a way to slow him down because right now, man, he is destroying them uh in this series. So they're gonna have to put Jimmy Butler on him if they want to win this game.

See great minds tinker like black. Because my next point, before you even brought this up, I wanted to say shut out to Fred Van Vliek. I had him on my show That's My Homie Man. I had him on my show a couple of times. His story is amazing. This guy really bet on hisself. He's undrafted and if you look back to twenty nineteen the Raptors versus Warriors Finals, he gave Steph Curry fits in that series. On both ends he matched Steph Curry. And that's what you're seeing in this series. The last three games, Freddy Vee had twenty nine points, twenty six points, and twenty five points. He hit six threes last night. The game before he hit four threes. The game before that he had eight three pointers. So he's really making shots. You remember it was I think maybe game one. In game two he was shooting a bunch of hand he was bricking everything. He couldn't make no shots. But he is starting to really get his shot going. And he's assistant. But Steven Adams has been plus fifty three when he's been on the court this series. He's been a monster on the glass. And he's an unrestricted free agent this summer, by the way, so the Lakers should be in and running for Steven Adams this summer. I'm in Thompson. You know him like it's his second year.

Pound for pound, I'm in Thompson just like his brother, a sewer in Detroit. He can move to puppies with the best of them in the NBA. He's one of the best Devinson players in the league right now. But before we went to the break, we were having a discussion about what's going on in the playoffs and what these teams are doing, and we still got a couple that we really haven't really touched on yet. Man, one of those teams would have to be you know, the Clippers, you know the Nuggets.

The Clippers going home in the first round, but they seem to not be ready to go yet.

What what's your takeaway on on what's going on with that series right now?

Well, I gotta some dude. I got some dude fun fact for y'all. Got a fun fact, you know, like.

A Snapple taking cap off right underneath the fun fact. Yeah, the La Totenail Clippers haven't won a Game seven since twoenty twelve against the Memphis Grizzly. So I say that to say this, I don't really trust the LA Clippers because they're the LA Clippers, and until you show me you can really get to this moment and do it, I just can't trust you. So the question I would have is, do you trust Game seven Kawhi Kawhi Jeffrey Jordan or do you trust Game seven Jokics? And I'm gonna put my money today on Jokis.

I feel like he's gonna have a monster triple double alert today.

Twenty seven points, fourteen rebounds, probably Tennisis, but the key for the Nuggets today Tonight will be Michael Porter Junior and Aaron Gordon.
They have to show up.

Russ gonna bring that energy. Russ shout out to Russell Westbrook. He's been real good in this series. But Michael Porter Jr. Aaron Gordon, they gonna have to show up. But I think it's gonna come down to the wire. This should be a close game, fourth quarter crunch time. The ball's gonna be in Yoki's hands a lot. Will the altitude being, will the altitude matter, got all these different factors. I think it's gonna be a great game. Who y'all put y'all money on Kawhi or Yokis and game.
I just can't go with the Clippers, man, I mean, I just can't go with the Clippers. I gotta take the Joker in again. Game seven, man, I just believe that he's gonna get off to one of those great starts. You know, ten ten points, eight rebounds, seven assists in the first quarter, and we know what that spells for the Denver Nuggets. That's gonna be another playoff triple double. So you know, getting back to James Harden, you know, I just don't see them going into Denver. I might take them if they were playing in LA, but this is a game that the Clippers need to win, but they're not because I think this is gonna be the end of this party for James Harden and Kawhi Len are trying to win a championship together because I believe just moving forward, these young teamers getting are getting better and better every year in the West. They need to win this game if they want to contend to win the world Championship.
But it just so.
Happens that they're running in to the Joker, and I believe Jamal Murry is going to have one of those big Knights and they're gonna send the totalail Clippers back home.
Man, it really boils down to can Jamal Murray play like the Jamal Murray.
When they won a championship?

This is his absolute maybe last shot or best shot to get to an NBA Finals, because all I see on social media is people telling me the streets say James Harden is better than Dwayne Wade all time in shooting guard rankings. There's no way I'm putting James Harden ahead of d Wade? Are you kidding me?

So it's like tonight, James Harden, I feel like that's the person I want to see rod to the occasion. He had a good game six, But they need a triple double tonight. They need a vintage James Harden triple double. Not sixteen points, seventeen points. They need twenty five plus points, you know, ten eleven rebounds, thirteen or fourteen.

The guy that I'm watching for the Clippers tonight though, will be Zubob because he is top three in my opinion, Big men in the league. Him and Yolkis have had a great battle this series. He didn't rebound well the last game. I think Zubak only had five rebounds last game in Game six. That's not really standard for him. So I think tonight you're gonna see Zubak with a double double. I think we're gonna get a barn Burner phelips. I think we're gonna get a close game, maybe a lower scoring game than usual because I think it's gonna be a lot of physicality, a lot of fouls the referees, hopefully.
A set of tone early.
But Aaron Gordon, you know, I'm looking at Porter Junior Aaron Gordon on the Nugget side, and I'm looking at James harden do Bock on the Clipper side.

I want to throw this one out at you cuffs. I'm looking at the Pacers coming off of that that kind of very very uh confrontational, very uh like, I don't know, confusing, messy, messy uh when uh, I guess series win over over the Milwaukee Bucks. Obviously, with Halla Burton's dad getting in the mix up, first, I ask you, do you think the dad should like should the should the penalty be harsh as in never being able to attend the game. That should the NBA banning from games. Should it just be the team or should there be anything at all? And then the second thing is the Cavaliers, to me, was the one of the two teams that have shown a very very early dominance in the way that they they come into the playoffs. I mean, they look like they're poised to make a real run for the finals. How do you see this this series playing out?
First Off, Halliburton, Pop Caliburton, I think his name is John Halliburton.
He was goofy. It was a goofy thing.
I know he feel real bad about it. He regretted doing it. He made a mistake, he was over zealous, he was passing it. We know we all got sons that plays for us. We know you were stripping, Pops, But I said.
The penalty was at a little harder. Put him in the nosebleeds. Just send him up there in the top of the air condition bent.
He can still be in the building. But you get you can't come down close to the players, Pops. But this series, man, I think it's gonna come down to Darius Garland and Evan Mobley once again on the Cave side. Those are the lynch pins like those are the guys for the Calves. Man that really tilt the scale of the casway Donovan Mitchell.

Proven playoff riser, like in the past with even with Utah, he's had great games, even last year's playoffs, he's had great scoring games thirty plus points. So we expect Spotty to show up. Shared Allen's going to show up. I got this series going maybe six. I think the Cave is just a little too much for our power Todd Jerome DeAndre Hunter. They got a solid bench. The Pats are up and up tempo team, so I think this will be a high scoring series. But bar it will be a high scoring series for both teams. So they like to get up and down. Siakam he's gonna do it what he does. I just don't so like Indiana has enough scores. Though, like aaron Ne Smith, he's a good role player, but I don't think they can depend on him to give you twenty or twenty five, and that's what they're gonna be missing this series. So I'm going four too with the Calves, and I think we're gonna get what we're all looking for. I know Platico is looking for this too. Cleveland and Boston Eastern Conference Finals.
Yeah, I agree with that. I agree.
Yeah that the.
Cleveland b the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Calves many offensively, not a weakness. Defensively, not a weakness. They have size athleticism. When they meet Boston in that Eastern Conference Finals, man, that's he's gonna be a blood bath.
It's going seven, DJ, It's going seven if everybody's healthy. If you look at the matchup, it's gonna be one of those series where each team is gonna have one of those games where the role player is gonna have to decide the game because the star power is there.
You know.
I feel like with Tatum and Brown, even though I don't feel like Brown's one hundred percent healthy for the Celtics, that words me a little bit for Boston. But we've seen, we've seen what Dereck White can do. Ball headed Derrick White. He's stepping up. He can get he can get you twenty five or thirty.
Better than Afro Derek White, by the way.

The Celtics are loaded, man.
But I don't know if y'all seen the rumors floating around, but even if the Celtics repeat this year, they're gonna shake the roster up this summer. So poor zingis Chris Stout, Port zingis Drew Holliday. They will be available in trade discussions this summer. So I can't wait for this second round. But one more point though about that Nuggets and Clipper series. Jall, the winner of this series only has one day of rest before they go to game one.

You could get ugly.
It could get ugly, and you're talking about one day's rest. How much is that going to play a part and everything that's that's going on from your estimation, Like you've you've seen this from from a very close range and have gotten to know the players. I mean, it's a grind for football players to go through the types of seasons. And it's like at this point, it's only seventeen eighteen games. You know, they got to go through a ton of games and now you're at the end. We saw how tired and we could say, all right, well, you know people were pointing out, blah blah blah blah, who's.
The guy for the Lakers? Why am I blanking on his name? Right now?
The main one Luca, Luca, Luca, Why am I blanking? So everybody's blaming Luca for being out of shape, But really they were all tied in that fourth quarter and that was kind of to me because you know, they probably weren't subbing the way that they needed to sub. But you can't just blame Luca for being so out of shape when the entire unit was.
Tired as well.
How does that play out, like, say, for instance, with what's going to take place with Golden State, that's a seven game series.
You got you gotta go play, I get it.
But how much does fatigue play a part in all of those things? Because there isn't very much, especially when you go beyond you know, having a sweep and you got to go later on into these series. How much do you think that plays a part and some of these teams maybe possibly having a chance against some of these other teams and these matchups moving forward.
Well, I would say the remedy to that real quick is to do what Anthony Edwards did.
And go ahead and get him.
Up out of here in five games, so you can have those extra days of red because the NBA has done a good job this season with the scheduling between the series, like I mean not between the series, but like in between game from Game one the game two, it's like one or two days here. The Lakers had some good rents in between the series. I don't know how they didn't get it together, but that's the thing with the conditioning. Like for like a lot of these teams, like the Calves and Thunder, that's why I'm picking them to go far this year.
Because they have the depth.
They have the younger legs as well, So that's why I'm going with those teams because they have they can go eight deep, nine deep, ten deep. We see the caves they got Todd Jerome, DeAndre Hunter. They going deep into their bench. So that's why I feel like it's a change of the guard now the older teams on a struggle. The Lakers were built to win a three game series. They weren't really built to win a seven game series, if that makes sense.
And this is why the Rockets will probably have an advantage tomorrow. Yes, it's because they have so many young players. Dylan Brooks is a starter. Dude didn't play much at all in the second half.
He's a starter.
How many teams can put a starter on the bench in keeping there the entirety of the fourth quarter, the majority of the third quarter and still win a game. There's not too many teams that can do that. When you have depth and you have young guys that can come in and give you a spark on both sides of the ball, and they're young, you have an advantage.
I just think the way that they're playing in that group they had on the basketball court, and the way that Van Fleet was playing, and the Golden State started this hack of Steven Adams, I mean he went down for sixteen fifty three from the free throw line, and that kind of backfired on them also because that didn't work. But when you have a unit on the court and they were playing as well as they were, you know, last night, I think Adoku realized that he was going to continue to sit Brooks on the bench because you know, some of these games, man, he'd be out of pocket, you know, making these crazy files. They have a chance to get back to home and play a Game seven on their court and he's running around, you know, taking everything personal, making these dumb files and all these bad plays. And I think with Doku man, he made his mind up when they came out and they hit that first three six minutes into the fourth quarter, and he was just like, you know what I'm gonna wrong with this group that I got on the court right now.
Had cuffs a blast man. Why Jimmy Butler doesn't play? Kuminga finally gets some burn, they win the game.
