#upongame

Welcome to up on Game presents The Some Dude Show. It's Cold Time, hosted by Cuffs the Legend aka Some Dude. Cuffs will be keeping a spicy with some of the biggest names and sports culture and entertainment.

Welcome to the Some Dude Show. Hope you can pick the heat like.

Lebron and now here's Cuffs the Legend.

The jig is harving James Harden. You full of shit, James, but you finally got your wish. But guess what, James, Guess what?

Moochiet Legend Legend.

Welcome back, y'all. Welcome back to the Some Dude Show. I am your host, Cuffs the Legend.

You know.

I woke up this morning, y'all. Woke up this morning. Now, I went to bed last night. For one, I was sequestered and I was nestled under my weighted blanket. Shout out to all the weighted blanket lovers out there. I was sequestered underneath my weighted blanket.

You know.

I woke up to notifications woj bombs, sham bombs. I woke up this morning and I saw the news. James Harden aka Mouchie Harden has finally landed with the La Clippers aka the La Toenail Clippers. James Harden finally got his wish, and I was thinking about it for a second because I know everybody likes to rush to Twitter, be the first one to tweet, the first one with the spiciest, with the hottest take, even though it's not really spicy. We all know James was going to the Clippers. We were hoping maybe La Lakers, maybe the Miami Heat. But we saw the writing on the wall, right. But everybody was rushing to Twitter late last night, early this morning, the tweets were going haywire. James Harden is an LA Clipper, So I was thinking to myself, I just had a sum dude epiphany. Y'all remember the old movie. There was an old movie with Sylvester Stallone. You know, you had Terry Crews, Jason Stathum, even Dolph Lundron, remember Dolph Lundron, Evon Drago from Rocky.

You got all the washed up action heroes, all the.

Washed up Avengers formed a coalition and a collective.

They came together at the wrong time of their career.

They were all washed up action heroes, but they came together and they formed a band of brothers, and they called themselves the Expendables, the LA Clippers, all the Expendables. They're the NBA's version of Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundron even Stone coach, Steve Austin, Jiggins Hord, James Harden, you're full of shit, James, but you finally got your wish. But guess what, James, guess what Muchie Harden. You don't scare soul, my brother, you don't scare soul. I want you to see my eyes right there, James, I want you to see my eyes because I love this trade. I'm not a hater. There's not a gate keeping bone in my body. There's not a gate keeping bone in some deuced body. There's not a gate keeping bone or a hating bone, and Cuff's body, I'm not that guy. I love this trade for James Harden, for Kawhi Leonard, for Paul George, for all those guys Tylou who I considered top two or three coach in the league. I love this trade. But you want to know why I love this trade for James Harden. I love the trade for you, James, because now all the pressure is on you. Now, James, see you had it easy. You were in Philly with embiid. You were the second option. Could have laid low in the shrubbery. There was no outside pressure. There was no real outside noise. Nobody woke up in the middle of the night and say, you know what, it's time for James Harden to win a ring. Nobody really cared James. You could have stayed in Philly. You could have lost in the semi finals again, or that maybe even the conference finals, and nobody would have really cared. Outside of passionate seventy sixer fans. They're the only ones that really take this hard whin it's six ers loose. They're the only ones who would have cared James. But oh no, oh no, my bearded brother in Christ, James Harden, you say, you know what, I want to run to the pressure. I want to go out there in La under those bright lights. We all see the La Clippers roster. Now it's full of Southern California guys. It's a bunch of guys from southern California. Kawhi, Leonard, Paul, George Westbrookers in the mix. Now, what's gonna happen now that James Harden is in the fold, because that's what's starting to click with the Clippers, the chemistry. We started to see the synergy with him and Kawhi and Paul George. But now you throw Moochie Harden, you throw the beard in the equation. Now what is that gonna do to Westbrook's Road? What is that gonna do? I love this trade. I'm not a hater because now the pressure is on you, James.

There's no more excuses. James.

See, you have some excuses in Brooklyn. You have some excuses in Houston. You had excuses everywhere every stop you've been on. You had excuses in Philly. But now you're in La. This is your final opportunity to change the narrative about you. My brother, my bearded brother. It is the moment right now, this is your moment, James. I'm ready to see this. I am ready. I'm not a hater. I know a lot of Laker fans are nervous because the Lakers are looking kind of shaky. Baby, the Lakers looking kind of shaky. They're gonna be fine. D Low is starting to cook. The team gonna mesh All Star and Reeds. He finally got a fresh taper relaxed, gave Vincent gonna start.

He's gonna start making shots.

Vanderbilt Van Do is gonna be back soon to provide that offensive, rebounding, that hustle that the Lakers are missing right now. So Laker Nation, don't panic. These are the LA Clippers we're talking about. We're not talking about no legendary teams of the past, old Laker teams. We're talking about that LA Clippers. James Harden, my question to you right here on the Some Dude Show, my brother, We're gonna find out if you really about that smoke because we've seen Kawhi Leonard smoke management. We've seen Paul George smoke management. We've seen them guys ducking certain matchups here and there. James Harden, are you gonna show up this year under pressure because you folded last year?

I feel bad for Joe el Ebid right now.

Ben Simmons left Philly, Jimmy Butler left Philly, and now Joe and Bid, fresh off of MVP, is all alone in the wilderness right now. You left your boy hanging dry. James, you had to go back to Cali and play with your boys.

I understand it.

I know Paul George told Westbrook we got unfinished business even though he left russ In.

OK. See, y'all all funny guys. I will say that.

Nobody else want to say it, but I'm gonna keep his spicy right here on the sum Dude Show. Lebron Damn James, he still got y'all boys shook. Lebron James, I'm gonna say it one more time, real clear, Lebron James still got y'all boys shook. In year twenty one, he still got y'all boys shook. Look at y'all teaming up like the Expendables. Y'all are the basketball version, the NBA version of the Expendables. LA Clippers don't scare a soul, but I'm here for it. I love the trade. I love the trade. We're gonna see how it play out. We know Clipper Daryl is real happy right now. He walking around his breath smelling like fish dicks. We see you, Clipper Darryl, we see you. Steve Bomber. I gotta give some some duke kudos to Steve Bomber, right the owner, the billionaire owner of the LA Clippers. Steve Bomber, say, you know what I don't want these draft picks. I don't care about the Clippers' future. I'm gonna mortgage everything to bring this championship because we need a banner. In crypto, we see the Lakers with seventeen of them things up there, seventeen of them things, and we come into the arena every night. We're sharing an arena. We don't have any banners on there. We gotta get us one. So I commend Steve Bomber for pushing all the chips to the front, to the front of the table. He pushing all the chips to the forefront, and he is saying loud and clear, I'm gonna pay James Harden whatever. I'm gonna pay Kawhi the Claw whatever, Paul George whatever. My brothers. You see ain't Steve Bomber. He's passionate, blood vessels popping out of his head every regular season game. The man wants to win. We gotta commend that. When you have an owner that's willing to spend because he want to win, you got to commend that. So Steve Bomber, as a true basketball fan like myself, I'm happy for you too, because you provided the resources. You got the new arena on the way. Clipper fans are buzzing, but they still have no banners. The trophy case is still empty. So what are you gonna do about it? James Harden, I don't want to hear no more excuses about anything. Okay, you have Kawhi Leonard, now, you have PG, you have Russ, you have all your buddies, you even bought you even brought PJ.

Tucker with you, the shoe collector.

Even though PJ Tucker, who's a North Carolina guy, he's from my home state, the now one nine. But PJ Tucker at this point of his career, he's still in checks. He's doing paid cardio. PJ Tucker, he's just running his marathon. He's out there on the court running on a peloton right now. So I don't really see PJ making too much of an impact in this trade.

It's all about you.

We are pointing fingers at you, James, my bearded brother in Christ. It is your time now, just like I said, it's Jason Tatum's time.

No excuses in Boston.

Tatum Brown, Jaylen Brown, there's no excuses for you, James, because you finessed your way out of very situation. That was great, every beautiful basketball situation. You found a way to finesse your way out. So now you're in the Clipper situation. Now you're in LA You can't force your way out. Now, this is your legacy on the line, James, all jokes aside, my brother, it is your time. You gotta get it done. You got the whole city on your back. You got a whole team full of expendables. You gotta get it done, my brother, Because if you don't need it done this year, James, guess what's gonna happen, my brother. You know what's gonna happen, right? You know what your legacy is gonna be right? You know what your legacy is gonna be right? Is your legacy gonna be a winner or a quitter? James Harden, I'm saying it to you right here live on the Some Dude Show. There's no other podcast like this in the entire world. James Harden, this is your moment. You back home, the beautiful sunsets, the hidden hills, the hidden hills in Hollywood, Calabasas. You got Malibu, you got the Ferris Will in Santa Monica, you got the Pacific Coast Highway with the ocean on one side, the mountain on one side. You have no more excuses your home, You're in your backyard, You're comfortable, your beard is flourishing. What are you gonna do? Are you gonna be a winner James? Or are you going to be a quitter? Because me being a real periost of the game, a fan of the game, all I've ever seen from you is you run from the smoke when adversity comes, when any tumultuous situation comes, when the storm comes, guess who's running for cover you? And now you're in a situation to totally change the narrative about you, James and low key on the lowest the keys. I'm actually rooting for you, James Harden, my bearded brother in Christ. I'm rooting for you because it sounds like you want the pressure. You want the bright lights, because everybody can't handle the bright lights in La everybody can handle the bright lights, as we've seen with guys who come to the Lakers, as we've seen with guys that come to the Clippers.

It's your moment. The jig is hovering.

I know you're working, I know you're out there busting your ass nine to five.

You're working long hours.

You might not have the time to sit in front of your TV and watch NBA basketball all day, all night. You might not even have lead pass. And that's fine. But the Some Duke Show is here. What I'm gonna do. I want to highlight some young players across the league that you may not be familiar with right now. It's a lot of young talent in the league right now, and it's also some old heads hooping right now. So we're gonna highlight those players right here on the Some Duke Show. Young Bloods of the Week, Cuffs the Legends, young Bloods of the Week, Some Dudes, young Bloods of the Week. My first young blood, my favorite young blood in the league right now. He plays for the Detroit Pistons. Jalen Duran. Jalen Duran. This kid's been nice since high school. He was the number one player in high school. He went to Memphis. He was groomed for the pros by Penny Hardaway. Shut out to Penny. But Jalen Duran, I'm telling y'all right now, on the Some Dude Show, Jalen Duran is looking like a young Dwight Howard right now, he's only nineteen years old. You've seen his shoulders, big shoulder, kid, well chiseled, a rebounding machine, an offensive rebounding machine.

Just look at his numbers this year so far.

Jalen Duran, Detroit Piston fans, you have your centerpiece, you have your cornerstone for the future, and you also have maybe the next Grant Hill and Kay Cunningham. Kay Cunningham, Jalen Duran, that's looking like one of the most promising young duos in the NBA right now.

Shout out to Troy Weaver.

You're doing a damn good job, Troy over there rebuilding and retooling those Detroit Pistons. The Pistons are looking nice for the future. Young Bloods of the Week going out to Jalen Duran and Kay Cunningham, and also got to give a shout out to young Blood of the Week one of my favorite young bloods as well.

Hard worker.

This kid right here exudes who's the type of personality in charisma that you wanted your basketball team. I don't care if you're a middle school coach, high school coach, park and red coach, you need a kid like this on your team. And that guy is Tyrese Maxi for the Philadelphia seventy six ers. Are y'all watching what's happening in Philly with Tyres Maxi? He is averaging thirty six and six thirty points, six rebounds, six a sists for the Sixers and Tyres Tyrese Maxie, I feel like to be honest with y'all, he is the guy that made James Harden expendable in Philly.

The front office saw what ty Res was doing.

They said, you know what the jig is hovering on you, James Amazon Prime, my boy, get up out of here, build around Tyrese Maxi.

You can go back and find the tweets.

I said it since that draft that Tyres Maxi, when it's smoke clears and the dust settles, he might be the best player from that twenty twenty draft. That's a draft that included LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman. But Tyre's Maxi, young blood. Keep doing your thing, brother, and also my favorite young bloods as well. Two of my favorite young bloods right now, the Thompson Twins. I'm in Thompson and Houston, Azor Thompson and Detroit. Look at these pistons, these Thompson Twins, they moving the puppies. Have you ever seen two kids, two teenagers coming to the NBA playing this type of defense? They moving the puppies. How can you not love the Thompson Twins. Thompson Twins. The sky is the limit for y'all. And we gotta shot out the old heads, old heads of the week. These guys are they're not washed, but they're very season They're very seasoned old heads of the week. I gotta give it to my guy. He been hooping right now. Kevin Durant steal hooping, KD steal hooping. No Booker, no Bill kat said, it don't matter. I'm a certified cooker. I'm a top three score ever known to man. Kevin Durant. Out there in the sun, the Cactus Boys are looking good. Shout out to the Cactus Boys. The firepower is waiting on the bench. When Booker comes back and Bill comes back with KD, it might get spooky the Cactus boys, But KD, you made the young blood of the week. Keep doing your thing, KD, nobody can guard you. And also my old head, another old head is hooping right now. Lebron Damn James is still hooping. You saw Bron, he just played in a back to back in year twenty one. We got all these young players low managing, smoke management, smoke managing, chilling on the bench and street clothes. Lebron is still playing in back to backs at thirty eight, thirty nine years old.

What are we talking about? Old head of the week Lebron.

Damn James and my last old head of the week, This old head right there, this old head right here from my home state of North Carolina. He has the Golden State Warriors looking like a contender. This guy is Chris Paul CP three. They said you was washed, my brother, my North Carolina brother in Christ. They said you were done Chris. They said you couldn't come to the Warriors and make it work with Steph. They said you couldn't be cohesive, you couldn't find that chemistry. You were too ball dominant. And what is Chris Paul doing right now for the Golden State Warriors? What is Chris doing for the Doves right now? Top five and assists setting the table getting God's easy. Look look at Kaminga and Moses Moody. Just look at the role players Darrio. Sorry, these guys are feasting. These guys are eating because the Maestro is running the point. Now Chris Paul, shout out to you, my Carolina brother. Wait Forest Brother, keep hooping, keep rapping for the old heads, Chris Paul, old head of the Week. And before I go, I want to say this live on the Some Dude Show. I want everybody to apologize. All you haters, all you gatekeepers, all you suckers, all you poisonous people with all that venom and your soul. I want you to apologize to Anthony Davis. Anthony Davis, right now, he is averaging twenty five points, thirteen rebounds, three assists, and two blocks.

What are we talking about?

Anthony Davis is looking like not only the defensive player of the Year, but the MVP candidate. Right now, stop and apologize to Anthony Davis. And before I go on the sum Duke Show, Oh yes, oh yes, my Duke Blue Devil brothers, my brotherhood brothers in Christ, we want to say right here on the Some Duke Show, welcome, Welcome to Basketball Heaven.

Cooper Flag, the kid from Maine.

He committed to Duke University aka Basketball Heaven. Don't let those U and c Tarhell fans lie to you. That school down there is not basketball Heaven. If you look up in the sky, the sky is Duke blue, not Carolina blue. The jig is hovering. Welcome to Durham, North Carolina, Cooper Flag, Oh yes, yes, the Brotherhood is back. Another one shout out to Jay Billis. Another one, shout out to Zion Whimson. Another one, shout out to Danny Ferry, wo Jahiawski, Nolan Smith, all my Duke brothers, Quinn Cook.

We got another one, We got another one.

The jigg is hovering on you, UNC Cooper Flagg, welcome to the brotherhood.

And shut out to you, Cam Thomas, shut out to Cam Thomas.

Man.

That kid right there is a testament of perseverance and believing in your skill set and trusting your work and trusting your talent. Cam Thomas is averaging thirty three points a game right now for the Brooklyn Nets, and nobody's talking about it. It's so many politics in the NBA right now. I'm disgusted because how can a kid go from DNPS game after game is first two years in the NBA to all of a sudden, just magically averaging thirty three points a game. You want to know the answer to that question, I'm going to tell you right here on this Some Dude Show. A lot of these NBA executives, a lot of these scouts, they don't know ball. Cam Thomas been that guy. Cam Thomas has been that killer. He been that kid. He been that certified cooker since okidd Steve Smith, head coach of O Killer Academy, he been knew this.

He been seeing the vision.

But what happens in the NBA life, the politics, the bull job. But now we're seeing Cam Thomas flourish in Brooklyn. Nobody can guard the kid. Keep doing your thme, Cam Thomas, everybody doubted you, and look at you. Now you might be the Brooklyn that's best player. We all thought it was going to be Michael Bridges, myself included. I have Michel Bridges as the most improved player on the Some Due Show Spicy NBA predictions. But it's looking like, oh no, oh no, it's looking like Cam Thomas might be the most improved player in the NBA this year. Keep killing them, Cam, keep doing your thing, keep silacing the critics.

My brother
