Bex has a 9pm bedtime, and his mom controls the internet, so there’s no sneaking a tablet under the covers. He shares his Halloween plans (Fishstick from Fortnite), then gets to the picks. For Vikings at Lions, Bex says his bus driver, a diehard Lions fan who listens every week, greeted him with “How about them kitty cats?” He takes Detroit 24-17. He can’t stand the Patriots but picks them 34-6 over Miami anyway. And he shows the Bears no mercy, with Seattle winning 24-16 on Monday night.

After the break, Bex relives the Lions loss: the officiating, the blocked kick, and a rookie kicker who has him saying “It’s Brandon McManus all over again” and missing the Mason Crosby days. Then he takes his 13-time world champion Packers over the Panthers, 28-23, and insists this one is not reverse psychology. “We don’t need to hope, we know.”
