Does it feel like you’re under attack, and you can’t tell whether it’s the enemy or just a hard week wearing you down?

In this episode of Untangling Prayer, Rachel Wojo answers that question from Day 36 of her book, Praying through Life’s Battles. She opens 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and looks at what Paul wrote to a young, persecuted church while he was facing opposition of his own, and why his reminder that the Lord is faithful still gives us solid ground today. Rachel also tells the story of the day the guards her mission team had hired stopped on a remote African road and refused to go any farther, and what happened when she started praising God out loud right there.

You’ll discover:
Why you don’t have to figure out whether it’s the enemy before you pray
How doubt goes after God’s track record, and how praise answers it
What Paul’s words about faith and faithfulness meant to believers under pressure
A prayer of praise from Day 36 and a battle cry to carry into your week

Wherever this week’s battle is coming from, the Lord is faithful, and He is still your defender.

Until next time, remember: God sees you, He hears you, and He knows your needs.

Untangling Prayer with Rachel Wojo

Have you ever whispered "God, please" and wondered if it even counted as a prayer?

Untangling Prayer is for women who want to pray but feel stuck, exhausted, or at a loss for words. Each week, we dig into the hard questions—like how to pray when God feels silent or when you're too tired to try. Then we get practical. You'll walk away with real steps you can take today.

We all need the reminder that prayer matters, so every episode ends with a true story of answered prayer to remind you: God is listening, and He still answers prayer today.

I'm Rachel Wojo. I've prayed from hospital hallways and from the floor of my closet. I've been Hannah, pleading for something impossible. Prayer isn't a theory. It's my guide for both surviving and thriving.

About the host: Rachel Wojo is a Christian speaker and author who helps women pray when life is falling apart. She spent 22 years as a caregiver for her daughter Taylor, who had a terminal illness, and has walked through the loss of both her parents. Rachel is the author of Praying Through Life's Battles, a 90-day prayer devotional for anyone fighting a hard season, along with Desperate Prayers and Praying the Promises of God. She speaks at women's retreats and conferences nationwide. Find her at rachelwojo.com.
