From the King of Sports Books becomes the Key Sports podcast Unleashed, presented by MGM. Here's your host, Jerry Ferrara and Olivia Arlen Decker. I've won on Hell Mary's, I've lost on Hell Mary's, I've won in less second game. It's just you you. At this point in my life, I've experienced all of it, and uh so I'm never surprised what the league has the offer. But let those roller that roll across the never changes. And Jets coach Robert Sala I think said it best there. He has a lot to be happy about. This week. The Green Men down under two minutes to go in Cleveland, they get the dub two other teams overcame a twenty point halftime deficit. It was wild. A lot of bad beats this week, I'm sure, Jerry, I think you're one of them. What was the parlay that you lost? Well, I broke one of my first rules, which was never bet with or against the New York team in general. Broke that right out of the gate. The side rule to that is also avoid putting the Browns in anything. So I went like right into the curse. I tried to reverse the curse. So I had the Giants, which was lovely. I had the Jags, which I mean that was a joke win for me. And then the worst part of this bad beat is I sweat it out the entire Dolphins Ravens game. I was on the Dolphins look dead at halftime, and we all know what happened. So as I'm celebrating this comeback, which I'm like, oh my god, I'm gonna hit because the fourth leg of that parlay was the Browns and they're up thirteen. There's no way that's gonna go wrong. So if the Dolphins squeaked this out, I got it. And just as the Dolphins are squeaking it out, the Jets and Robert Sala and all those receipts, you know what, not keep the receipts. I'm gonna send you a bill for what you guys just did to me on that part. Like, I mean, I don't like any leading the show with any Jets anything, but we did it. It was a great win for them, busted. Like my whole part that I would have went like seven for seven if not for that game, what would the payout of bend? You know? Of course, you know, I think it was fifteen the one. I think I was at the one, so yeah, that would have it would have definitely been a good week. Two hits, So yeah, I got the receipts and you're getting a bill. I always wonder when it comes to sports betting, if this entices people to bet more the next week, you know, if it or if it makes you feel so burned that the better team doesn't always win, or anything can happen, or I mean, what do you think. Do you think more people are gonna be aggressive this week? I think for me, you know, we're still learning so much. The first few weeks. Like something I like a lot for the first few weeks. I like teasers, and I had a really nice teaser. I took all and I think I we talked about it with Peter took all the ten points favorites pretty much last week, not all. I think it was Packers uh Rams and there was another one in and the Broncos knocked him all the way down to basically pick him. Yeah, I feel like those hang on the most early. But yeah, I think I don't know if it could be aggressive going into week three because we're still getting info. But yeah, it was a tale of two halves. For me, with those beats, like on one half that Jets beat or Brown's beat, I should say hurts really bad. But then watching that Dolphins game, it's official for me, Tyreek Kill is the scariest player to bet against, and I was happy I was with him on that game. Yeah, for sure, you learned your lesson. I don't know the Dolphins moving forward? What do you want to do? Wow? Are you fading after that? When you're gonna fade them? Olivia? You know, I've heard the most contradictory remarks onto this week and this. We could talk forever about this, But there are so many people who were like, good for you, it was a one off. There are a lot of people who were like, no, I mean, he's a he's a Saban coached guy. He was drafted where he was for a reason. He's had a real tough go of it in in Miami, of course, he has with coaches and weapons and injuries, of course, But do you think this is a one one take wonder? Almost? Do you think he just had a bizarre game. He was certainly the m v P of the week. Yeah, I don't think we're gonna see him weekend. Week out throw for five or six touchdowns. That's not realistic. But you know a lot of people are still kind of doing even what you sort of did a little bit there, not buying it. And I get it, it's only two weeks. We don't have to buy it. I get it. But look at the Week one victory. That's a good Pat's defense with now not so good Pat's offense. And they played that style of that game in a much different way than they were forced to play against the Ravens. So to me, they're showing adaptability. And you love storylines, you know you love storylines. I think in my mind I could close my eyes and see the two uh storyline just of him proving a lot of people wrong. He was hurt early on in his career, and these weapons that he has now I would be a little concerned about the Dolphins defense. But I'm in. I'm not fading. I'm I'm rolling with the Dolphins, all right. And in addition to being hurt and coaching changes and drama in the papers all that. Don't forget what twa when he was healthy, it was almost like every third game they'd start Ryan Fitzpatrick. You know what I mean? So he never had consistency even when he was healthy, so the whole thing was kind of a mess. Totally excited for the guy, very excited to see what's going to happen there. But you know, when it comes to betting, I know a lot of people lost a lot of money this week. This was a pretty good week for the books. It's a long season and you have a lot of time to come out on top. So we've actually brought in helped our guest this week. We've got the EP of gaming content at Bally Sports. His name's Brad Evans. He's the host of Live on the Line. Always very insightful when it comes to sports betting. So we got that, and then at the end, as always, will check in with our own Peter Andrew, who was looking to bounce back in his one hundred dollar challenge. He had some big winners last week. You know, he he did pretty good, so we'll get his NFL Week three picks. Yeah, and he also he did what he needed to do. He he jinks the Seahawks and it's terrible because you never want to see it come in the form of an injury with Trey and we'll talk about that I'm sure, but yeah, he came. He knew what he was doing last week taking the Seahawks against his Niners. He knew what he was doing. I know, I know he's so shady that Peter Andrew shady, shady. So I'm curious now. I know you're Giants fans, We've got to give this some some airtime. They looked great. I don't know what's more surprising that there two and oh or that the Bengals are oh and two. I mean, there's there's a lot of O and two teams, and there are a lot of winless teams, obviously with the tie to with the Texans and the colt so a lot of winless teams. But what's the biggest surprise do you think so far? Are you surprised by your own team? I am surprised by my own team, and I do think it is the biggest surprise. And maybe this is a little of a Homer point of view, but two things that the Giants have done this year that they have not done in years is win a game on the road like Week one, where usually that's an exact perfect kind of game the Giants lose, and then more importantly, Week two in another tough, fun game. They win a home game, another thing the Giants don't do. The Giants haven't had a home field advantage that I don't know how since stray Hand was on team. So it is very surprising you're starting to feel like, I mean, they're their favorite in that game against the Cowboys. I know there's no Dak Prescott. I get it, but starting to see the Giants as favorites I don't. I don't like that makes me very uncomfortable. So I'm very surprised by this Giants team. I know you said earlier that when they come to London in my backyard here to play my Packers, that you didn't think it'd be very dramatic for us unless they were I think he said three and one four? Oh, how likely is that going to be? Now? Like, what are you thinking of the Giants next couple of games? Yeah, you know, it's been a while too since we've beaten Dallas. Everyone remembers how Eli stormed into Jerry World during its open and I think he won his first two games in Jerry World something like that, even like signed the locker. But it's been rough going. The Cowboys have definitely had the Giants number. Look, we're catching the Cowboys at a good time without Dak. Also, I love not having to play one of our road games at Lambeau. I love it being in London. Giants are a good team in London, so I'm not saying that's aging to equal wins, but we're definitely getting breaks so far. And by the way, this has all been done without our two best pass rushers. We've had a pretty good pass rush without Tip and without Oilari, so you like to think that they come back healthy, it only increases the pass rush. So uh, we shall see. I want to get too far ahead of myself because Daniel Jones still almost through a pick six that I still don't know how that it wasn't a pick six. I'm shocked. But the one thing we did see that that liked was that little running plate sort of ice the game to get the first down, which that is something that he can do that most other quarterbacks cannot do. It as be three or four others that could get that first down with their legs on a design play. So moving on, moving on. I know I've said on this show that I'm so sick of the term Super Bowl hangover. But but here we are. The Bengals are OH and two. They look as hungover as I did every Sunday in college. And Joe Burrow has more picks than touchdowns. He's sacked thirteen times, the most in the league. And I gotta say, I know he was injured in the preseason, so he didn't play, but it just kind of makes me think when players are healthy, and quarterbacks are healthy and they don't play in the preseason and they have a really slow start to the season, do we need to give the preseason a little bit more value? Again, I know injury, same with like Matt Stafford injury, couldn't play. But Joe Burrow has a new OH line and they didn't get many reps together and now they're sitting ohe too. Yet to your point, maybe maybe that's what it is. It's not so much that you can tell how good or bad someone's playing to other in preseason as much as it's just the reps and getting all the mistakes and all the miscommunication out. There's a lot of miscommunication on offensive line play, on you know, secondary play, especially in that Dolphins Ravens game. I don't know how you're guarding Tyreek kill one on one. There was a mistake. But as far as Burrow, you say super Bowl hangover, and I get that. To me, it's one thing and one thing only. The offensive line has been awful, awful. There's no big plays because it doesn't have more than two seconds to throw, so the routes with Jamar Chase are not taking time to develop. Yeah, Jamar Chase could bust the cold bust a slant for a d RDS, but that's unlikely. So I don't feel as bad though with the Bengals as an Ode two team, because look at that division, who are you trusting yet? In that division you would have thought the Ravens at halftime, but they've shown now defensively to have some issues. So not giving up on these Bengals. Are are you say, are you like calling it a Super Bowl hangover and lucky to make the playoffs? I don't know. And I was just like at the updated odds for them to make the playoffs is plus one forty, to miss is minus one eighty. And just let me tell you, Jerry that teams that are O and two only make the playoffs eleven percent of the time. That's since before I was born, And that's not good. A team that I am more excited about, that's so into that I think will turn it around because I just don't know what the Bengals are doing. But again, quick thing on the Bengals. They made it to the Super Bowl last year with the battle line as well, So what worked last year? That's not working now, you know what I mean? And were they lightning in a bottle? Last year? Was everything just clicking for some reason? Almost like Cam Newton's Panthers, you know, the first time around, not the second time around. But you see that happen. Teams just randomly are great for a year and then they lose it lightning a bottle. I don't know. But yeah, Raiders are oh and two as well. They're minus two six to miss the playoffs plus to tend to make it. And I just I'm not worried about the Raiders. I don't know why they only law week one, I think five points. You know last week it took the Cardinals to overtime. There's something there. Davante Adams is great. I know he wasn't last week. But they made the playoff last year with all this drama and and not a good start, and then they were one play away from beating the Bengals who went on to the Super Bowl. And I don't know, I guess I just am not giving up on the Raiders, whereas the Bengals I don't even want to touch. I'm with you, big game for the Bang. I gotta say to also shout outs to the NFL because the way the schedule is breaking. I thought the first week of games was amazing. Second week of games proved extremely entertaining, all the comebacks, and now we have so much more info. But yeah, you're looking at the Bengals going into the Jets, like if you look at that game early on and we're doing these podcasts trying to predict, oh, well, day that's a win. Are you really so sure? Are you're feeling confident Bengals laying four and a half against the scrappy Jets. I mean I that went from being all right, well they'll get things back on track to now, oh my god, the Jet's gonna be the pesky, annoying team that just gives people problems. As far as the Raiders go, I'm with the Raiders are so talented. It really upset me that they blew that game. I didn't have any action on the game, but I like that. I want the Raiders to be good. I want that division to be just while and right now the Raiders are on the short end and that's my warrior. Raiders is there in that division. And then we look around like the South, you know, the Jags, the Cults. I'm shore will get some wins at some point, you know the type. I don't know. It's gonna be really hard to make the playoffs because of that division. Well, that division was build so high, right, everyone said, Oh, it's the it's the best division. It's it's the one to watch. And now I feel like we're almos a little disappointed. I think we're disappointed with the Raiders and the Broncos. I think the Chiefs and the Chargers are giving us everything that we thought we had. But I think the Broncos for sure have been surprising a little bit. And I think the Raiders. The Raiders should be one th one. I mean, credits to Cardinals. That was an amazing comeback, almost over shadowed by the other comebacks, but the Raiders should be one and one that that one's going to hurt them. I think later in the year, So I guess what I mean disappointing, It's like it looks more clear. I think it's the Chiefs to win. You know, it's minus one oh five to win the f C West. So see, that's why you have a couple of teams series because now it looks like I think at my kand City, Chiefs are looking pretty good. Also for New Yorkers, we've got to pay this off. Sunday was the first time the Jets, Giants, Mets, and Yankees all one on the same day since two thousand nine. So too bad. That wasn't your parlay. That would have been a good one. My mind doesn't even think because I had to put that. It goes against everything I would believe in. But yeah, that was a pretty amazing day. I didn't realize that much time had gone by. But then I guess when you think about there's not a whole lot of you know, baseball games to choose from coming down the stretch here. But yeah, that was I think that's more of an indictment on how bad the Giants and Jets have been, less probably on the Yankees as a whole. So seriously, yeah, well we're gonna talk Week three lines and bets coming up, But first time for us to try and tackle the topic that we feel most passionately about this week. It's time very too unleash. It's time, all right, lad. Week two, we learned that some NFL offenses they're They're like Liam Neeson and taken all right. They have a very particular set of skills. No lead is safe. They will hunt you down, they will win. We saw it with the Dolphins Cardinals. We were talking about all the comebacks earlier, and I mean it's historic. It's been a history of multiple teams twenty point halftime deficits to win on the same day. Now, is this bad coaching or is this incredible playmaking? I don't know. I think everything is leaning towards bad coaching and miscommunication. We mentioned Tyree Kill being single covered. You have one job. Don't get beat deep, don't get long, you know, explosive plays, Brown's clock management, also special teams AMRII Cooper like you're not realizing that you gotta jump on that on sidekick. Also side note two more devastating extra points that were miss kid York and Joey Slide that easily could have helped their teams stay in that game. So what I'm getting at is we all knocked the prevent defense. Oh you want to prevent yourself? Ihone winning play the prevent defense. Maybe we need to go back to safety first, and maybe you need to drop five guys in the defensive secondary when you have a twenty eight or twenty one or fourteen point lead, Because the only thing that could hurt you is quick touchdowns? Is it? If it's an eight play, four or three minute drive, whatever, that will not kill you quick scores. I just don't understand it, and I'm not smart enough about football to understand why so many explosive plays happen with giant leads. But come on, let's figure this out together. We need something we can rely on. If you can't rely on a twenty eight point lead, that's it. I'm I'm done. It's really bothering me though. But don't you think it makes the game better and it makes the brand of NFL better to have point leads blown? It does, But when you're on the Brown and that when you're on the Brown's money line. I wasn't even on the Browns. Mine is six and a half. I was on the Browns money line. It's beautiful when you're on the Dolphins money line. But I don't know. I just really, when you're watching Tyreek Kill catch that touchdown, when you're watching, you know, Corey Davis catch that touchdown, you're thinking, this is the only thing that can't happen. Yeah, the only thing that can happen is a seventy eight yard touchdown strike. So I don't know, fix it, fix it. You would have been a great decord. You really could have done it. Gary. You'd never see your family. But by the way, ahead tell you that you live in a in a stadium office. I just wonder if the better option would be to rush rushed too, and put nine guys in the defensive secondary and just let them get five eight yard runs the entire away and let the clop keep running. I just don't know. That might have been a better version of what than what we saw. I hear you, I hear you. Okay, mine might be a little bit more controversial, and I hope you stick with me through this one. I think the forty niners are better today than they were last week? The far what do you think? I agree? I unfortunately agree, So I'm not a Tray Lance hater at all. I think he ultimately has the bigger upside, and this sucks for him. I feel so bad for him. You know, Tray Lance has not played much football. Like remember he went to North Dakota State and their last season was ended with COVID. They only had I think a couple of games, and he didn't play, you know, because he was getting ready for the draft and then injured. And then last year he didn't play much. I mean, this guy has not played much football in the last handful of years. So anyways, it just sucks for him. I feel horrible for him. My stomach sank when I saw this. But Jimmy G is the better option today. They can now go into games with a little bit more hutspu. They can open up the playbook. Jimmy G can do things that Tray can't. And we saw this after he scored a touchdown. The forty Niners players were celebrating with him. They love him. He's a well liked guy. The players want to win now. They don't care about building and they don't care about this is better for the franchise. You know, a lot of guys are on one year deals if if that, A lot of guys don't care about if the Niners are good in two years. They want to win this game this weekend. After the game, Jimmy g saying he's so comfortable. He loves the game, he loves the team, he loved the scheme most importantly, and ultimately Kyle Shanahan got to call different plays the second Jimmy went on the field. Trey wasn't ready as a passer, yet they're running him a ton. His accuracy was a huge question mark in camp. In practices, media had covered it. That was known. Jimmy can throw from the pocket, he's comfortable, and now they can just distribute the ball. They have so many more options. Now they can move the chains. So I feel so bad again Trey Lance Week one ship show, rainstorm in Chicago and embarrassing loss. He couldn't do much. And then this week too, just absolutely sex also sprinkling some bad press in between after he was making it rain in a strip club. That doesn't bother me at all. Go do whatever you want to do. It's just, you know, not a great week for the guy. And also San Francisco already down running back Eli Mitchell Hall of Fame, tied end George Kittle, who I think is coming back this week, by the way, but they need Jimmy more than ever. They can't afford to have these teaching learning moments and this limited playbook. They're built to win. Now, this has to happen now. And remember last year they went to the NFC Championship, which, by the way, they should have never left Green Bay with a win. But anyways, and that was with Jimmy injured. You get a messed up shoulder, you get a messed up thumb, and now he's healthy, so can he stay that way? I mean, Jerry, do you remember we asked Andrew Brandt, We asked a Glazer, Oh, you know, Jimmy g go to Cleveland until Tashawan is back? Should he go to Dallas until Dak is back? And both of those guys, and they're pretty smart, they kept saying no. They have the best backup in the NFL. So the Niners knew what they were doing. They knew that Trails had showed this poor accuracy. They were going to run them all over the place a lot of r P O and that makes him vulnerable. So I don't know, I'm excited now about what San Francisco has coming up. They have the Rams twice in October and the Chiefs. That's gonna be a tough stretch, but they have some easy away games. They're at Denver this week, that's Sunday Night football. I think they should win, and then at Panthers and at Falcons, so all of a sudden it's a new season. Yeah. I like the four years to win that division. Now, my Seahawks pick was always with the tray Lance element involved. The whole thing. I'm with that's a great unleash. You cannot backwalk your seat. I'm not, I'm but if Jimmy G was the starter week one, I would not have been as excited to pump this one. But yeah, the whole tray Lance thing is strange from where they took them in the draft and what they gave up to get them and then the gym. It's just it's very it's a very very bizarre storyline. As as too, I'm with you, I love storyline. We're getting the most unfortunate version because we're seeing the injury put off and then Jimmy G, to his credit to like he's said all the right things he hasn't taken any shots, he hasn't gone to social media. All right, He's just sat back, got his check, said I'm gonna get healthy and I'm gonna make a boatload of money next year and try and compete for a championship. But now he's getting you know, he essentially has a contract year now in a way, you know. So it's a bizarre one to say the least. Good unleash though, Olivia, good unleash. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Yeah, I'm not letting you walk back your Seahawks pick. I'm not walking it back. And Peter Andrew, I can't wait to talk to you. This is on you, buddy, This one's on you. What what happened? You did a reverse jinx and it's terrible. But yeah, just also, they did look a lot more comfortable. I'm sorry. The minute Jimmy g came in, he hit like a fifteen yard out route that like they didn't have that play available to them, I don't think. So. Yeah, I'm excited to see what the Niners do this week. But I really do feel terrible for for Trey Lance because you just at least want the guy to get a shot you're gonna lose your job, lose your job because of you know, because of talent. But yeah, I do. I like them against the Broncos. I'm with you. I love it all. Right, let's talk more Week three storylines. Let's bring in Brad Evans. Okay, we're only two weeks into the season, of course, but what is a preseason futures bet that you wish he didn't make and what's one that you wish you did well? I honestly did not wager on any preseason futures bets outside of one. And of course someone has already toasted. I took the overall tray lance for rush yards at five hundred and a half and he's done so. But he had clean surgery, so hopefully he's gotta get a swift recovery. So that was one I wish I didn't make. But unfortunate. Well, the good news is is you can kind of make up for that just maybe riding the Niners, because I was the only one who made a Seahawks to Asian pick, and then that's kind of gon cinic. The Niners go runaway with that division. Now, But now we look, we talked a lot in this episode about all the comebacks last week and now going into this week, Are you changing any philosophy now that the fact that it seems that no lead is safe? Do you change anything? First half, second half? Well, what are you thinking after watching those three insane historic comebacks? Yeah, I mean you do have to reassess. And you know it's the NFL. It's no freaking logic. I mean, it certainly applies every single week. And you think a game is you know, done and and and concrete it's gonna be an l for a certain team. And then make that triumph and come back of the case in point to a tack of a low on the Miami Dolphins. Just a stirring performance. And you know, the Dolphins I think are for real. I can assess that now after the very small sample size of two games. TVD you know asked me again that question in a week number ten. But I think it's team. You know, with the speed that they have outside at Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle, they just tax defenders repeated And I think one of the redeeming qualities that we saw in that comfort behind Victor against Baltimore was the fact that got Mike Kasecki again involved. And you know, we had hurt preseason that Cassecki was gonna be an afterthought at the tied in position within this offensive scheme. But to have found him, not only found him a connected with a touchdown. To me, that is a striking development in the Miami Dolphins vertical game and one I'm really anxious to see whether or not it's going to continue this week and moving forward. But yeah, look, it's the NFL. It's predictable and unpredictable. At the same time, we still have a small sample size, so I'm right now still in learning mode, though I'm losing my shirt in the process. All Right, you're hot on the Dolphins, but they host the Super Bowl favorite Buffalo Bills this weekend. Both teams are to a no and Bills five and a half point favorite. Looking ahead of that game, specifically, what are you gonna do? I take Miami if I had a lane on the line, And you know, I usually a hammer the player props market because that's where the inadequacies and inefficiencies generally lie within the marketplace. And hopefully you're following my spreadsheet that I have absolutely for free all the time on social media on Twitter at Noisy Huevos post all my props there and a ton of them from bet MGM, wh already have somewhere. I'll believe it or not on the Thursday game, but in that game in particular, you know I will be zeroing in on what Toua comes out at with his past yards prop. You know what version we get to see of this Baltimore secondary. True Dabus White we know was out. We know that Dane Jackson had that frightening injury on Monday night is unlikely to play as well. So this Buffalo secondary thinner than they normally are, and I think my name is gonna be able to keep pace offensively and what should be a game that goes well over the opening total of fifty two and a half. I believe this one will deliver on the hype. I think points will be a plenty and the good time is gonna be rolling for both squads, so offensively scoring will not be an ept in this contest. Look, we all anxiously await the prop lines from bet MGM, refreshing screens waiting from the come up. Is there anything you're willing to share prop wise? Yet you talked about the spreadsheet. But we're talking here people listening, uh, prop wise, I see a glimmer in your eye when when the prop just the mention of props came up. So anything you're willing to share on the pod right now, I already have too many props locked and loaded for Thursday night. So let's go ahead and divolte all the intimate details what I have on my bedding card. I've got four wagers already made. I'll probably have born again. I haven't focused right there on the spreadsheet and track them absolutely for free, good, badly ugly actually upright now a little over four un it's on this season, so hopefully we'll stay profitable here in week number three. But the one that I found very striking when it opened initially and bet MGM is Kareem Hunt, and I took the under on forty four and a half rush yards. Now he's gone over this total in back to back games, have forty s Skins Carolina fifty eight against the Jets. But I mean again, look at the quality of the opponent there. The Steelers have given up well south but four yards per carry the running back position so far this year. And Haunt is like getting of the opportunity share when you have rubbing dub dub Nick Chubb. The Chubb Club is open for business right now, a bottle service for everybody, because he's breaking tackles left and right. Absolutely a steam train in the open field, and I don't see that really changing. So forty four and a half rush yards a little rich for my blood. That's why I think the under is gonna prevail. And I think the under also applies to the other running back in this game, where in the maze and black and that is Nausea Harris of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The toll opens a fifty five and a half rush yards. I think that's too high a player that has struggled to get appreciable yards after contact act what he was known for back in his days at Alabama, but it certainly hasn't showed up so far this season. I like his receiving guards prop which opens at seventy and a half, and I expect that number to march northward. But I am under on fifty five and a half of rush yards against a very talented front of the Cleveland Browns. Oh all they do is early plug goals, all right? I like that, I like get into the player props. Let's go ahead and look at Sunday Night football as well, if there are any that you like there. I went off earlier in the show about I think the San Francisco forty Niners are better with Jimmy G and I like them to win in Denver Sunday Night Football one or one and a half point favorite depends where you look, and that might change up until Sunday Night. But for like Jimmy G props, is there something there that you like? No, I mean, and nothing's opened yet for the Sunday night game, but I will say this, whatever the uh delay of game penalties is for the Denver Broncos slam the over Daddy want Daddy Daddy to have. If they don't know what clock management is, they suck at it. I know the patrons were there in the Maleigh City at Empower Field and they were screaming the numbers out as the clock was counting down to Russell Wilson and Nathaniel Hack to make sure they knew how much time was left on the play clock. That's how bad they had been this season at Basic Football one oh one. Now a couple of problems. I will look out for Courtland Sutton receiving yards. He used the clear cut number one. Jerry Judy is gonna be very iffy whether or not he's gonna be able to even play in this game. So it could be a targets hog type of affair for Sutton in this one. Who's gonna get back to who's a thousand yard days from a couple of years ago. I loved him when he came out at SMBU went so far, so good this season, and he got to look at Juggernaut Javante Williams and Melvin Gordon on the ground. Javonte Williams has been quite the magician in the open field. He's got the shimmy shake racket up those his tackles force this season probably gonna get anywhere between fifteen and seventeen carriers in this game. You get a number round fifty nine and a half rush yards, maybe sixty and a half. I would take the over there, and I also would take the over on Melvin Gordon despite being seasoned and board unto jurassic, because he's been in the league seemingly forever. If his totals at like I don't know, forty and a half, forty one a half. I would lean slightly over there, or maybe do a one game parlay on bet MGM. Get the thresholds a little bit lower, get a little two leg action because we don't have to go full Calvin Ridley. We don't need seven legs on a parlay. Get at a plus odds and build the bank roll. I love that strategy. Weekend, a week out earlier, I was saying, you know, because I I caught that bad beat with the Browns Jets game. I was on the Browns money line, totally rippen my parley to shred. I hit every other party. I was on the Dolphins money line. But watching the first half of that game, Lamar Jackson. If we're gonna do a draft of scariest players to bet against, I think Lamar Acton might be number one, whereas Tyree Hills. You know, players you most likely would want to root for in a bit. Is there a player and even in the player props sense, even if you love the number, you're like, that number looks tasty and I know I gotta go after that. Is there is there any players that just just give you a Maybe they burned in the past, you get a little anxiety. The number is good, but he's like, I don't want to do it, but I gotta do it. There any players you try to avoid, just from history or just overall your own heart rate, Well, I'm a Chicago Bears fan, and truthfully, I have had thoughts that borderline on mantastic. You could say, for one, Mandatory Montgomery. I love him like a child, like a brother, like a boyfriend like he I adore him. I kissed the ground that he walks on. I think he's an amazing football player. And we saw the break tackle ability on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers, and I'm just like, just give him the damn rock twenty times already. But flues, that's all we gotta do. So I have been burned on a multitude of Mandatory Montgomery pops over the years, but I will say this, Houston can cure most sales. And I know the You know, the Texans played formidably last week all the road against the mad High representatives in the Denver Broncos. But they're still giving a four point eight five yards per carried to the running back position. So if the Bears can do their job ap front, open up some holes, let mandatory Montgomery create. If he does that, he's gonna make me smola. I don't care what the rush Earth prop up and said, I'm taking it over again. I love it. Okay, we gotta play a game, and we're actually stealing this one from you. It's Fade or Follow. You play this game, So we thought we'd have some fun and ask you some of our own and summer actual Beck some week completely made up. So you're ready to play Fade or Fall? Al right? First one, Odell Beck Jr. Will play this season in which team I say follow, And he used to be hanging around the Rams because I I think he wants to re establish the brotherhood. So I'm gonna say right now he's gonna be back in l A with the Ramis sometime later this year, So follow, all right, I got one for you. Malik Willis will play before Kenny Pickett Fade or Follow. Oh that's a really good one. The way that Robinsky and I can't believe I'm seeing this. He's actually looked adequate as a disgruntled Bears fan. I'm shocked that he has been. It was somebody that's at least been serviceable. I'm gonna say Malik Willis will be ahead of Kenny Pickett. So I believe that is a follow on that notion, just in sort of now Titans, because Ryan Tandle's that running. He doesn't have a whole lot of zip in his legs like in the past. Malik Wolves has a cannon of an arm and he is a modern day NFL quarterback. It could be your version of Jalen Hurts. Speaking of Titans coach Mike rabel Is, the first NFL coach to be fired, fade or follow a baid and it won't be brable. It'll be somebody else. I don't know who that's going to be, but somebody is gonna have some skeleton's release out of the class and they'll be gone. All right, sticky with it? Uh? We have an No. One two team here, the Bengals, you know, minus four and a half? Will the Bengals just get their first win of the season this Sunday versus the Jets? Fair to follow? I say follow. Look, the jetsaman a great story. Joe Flacco is doing something spectacular for forties somethings or near forties some things. He's a gray beard. He was around before the combustible engine I think was invented. But ultimately I think the Jets will take a step back. Sincinna, He's gotta rise the occasion. The offensive line is gonna congeal. It's gonna gell at some point. It's just way too much talent. But he got Jamaar Chasea te Higgins and Tyler Boyd and Joe Mixing and yeah, some random dude named Joe Burrow and he have an upgraded tied in with Hayden Hurst. They'll find their bearings do get them straight. And it starts this week. Alright, I got the last one and the best. Entourage is the best HBO comedy of all time. Fade or follow? Well, do I have to fuck her? Upsets? We have a certain co host here follow We're following it. Then, all right, Brad, that was a lot of fun. Thanks so much for joining us. We hope you come back later the season. Appreciate it, guys, make all that money. Peace. Alright, my Entourage update. As you all know, I'm watching it for the first time. I am loving this show. I get why it has all the accolades it does. It is a fantastic show, and I have the pleasure of having my co host be one of the stars of it. So, Jerry, I'm on season three, episode ten. You guys just had a great episode in Vegas. You've got to tell me behind the scenes stories of every time you guys went to Vegas, Vegas, Baby Vegas. Yeah, that's a good one. So, oh gosh, you know, I always love those episodes where we would get out of Los Angeles a little bit. We've talked about the Sundance one, We've talked, We've just talked about traveling on the show. So we shot that in Vegas. It felt like our little version of Oceans eleven. And I think it's mainly because in between every take, we're running to the blackjack table or to the crafts table. Yeah, we were like assigned, you know, p a s. We were like, okay, when we call cut, you follow them because they're gonna go gamble. And that week we were there for eight days shooting. I think I won thirty two thousand dollars playing Watch and I was not playing like ridiculous amounts of money. I was just on a heater and I was so young and stupid that I actually if I rented a car to drive the money home because I was worried going through security with that kind of cash and I thought I was a drug deal. I rented the car and drove back to l A, which is what like six hours, right, that's like three and a half. If you know what you're going call it four though, say if you're abiding by speed limits, we'll call it four hours. Oh my god. So it takes eight days to film an episode or just an episode like that, and usually at that point, I think we were around seven or eight days when you factor in the travel, like you have a travel day there, travel day back. Also, we most of our crew came out there as well. And then that's a great episode for you to be watching right now because I saw on social media the way that episode ends with what Johnny Drama does to seth Green. It was very Mike Evans and Lattimore. Everyone was saying Mike Evans with full Johnny Drama coming out of nowhere, saying yeah, I got a problem. Uh yeah, Oh that's so good. I gotta say this episode in this season stressed me out because I feel like there's such feel for Ari. It makes me so frustrated that to get to Vince he has to go through E, and then not only has to go through E, he has to go through Johnny because now he's representing him and now he's also representing you. And the whole thing stresses me out when he's like talking to heads of studios and I'm just kinda like, oh my god, just and it seems so dated now because it's like the flip phone answering and like no one's really texting, Like texting wasn't it wasn't a thing. That episode is still even like pre BlackBerry. I remember we all it all started getting a lot less phone callie when the BlackBerry really hit and everybody was BBM ng. I'll remember that. You might be too young for the BBM crazy. I don't remember that, but I will say, also, what did it stand for BlackBerry BlackBerry Messenger? It basically was like, you know, like a group chat for BlackBerry only. I mean, this is really yeah, we're well, I'm old. Uh. But something else that happens in that episode two at the end with the fight and all that is, you know, you go rehearse that scene. Let's just call it what it is. No actor, and I'll speak for all actors. No actor loves walking in for a scene where there's fighting involved and you discover you're on the losing end of the fight. I don't care how good of an actor you are. No actor wants to get their ass kicked in a scene. That's just the bottom line. So when we shot, when we rehearsed that scene, it was a little more even. By the time we got done with it, that fight was it was a it was a one side of the fair by the time we got done talking about it. Oh jeez, I bet that was a fun table read too. I'm always curious when you have a table read for each episode, do scenes from that still get cut or is that the episode? Well, sometimes scenes will get cut right after the table read. I've always taken the table reads very very seriously. Actors have gotten fired from table reads, you know, just it's weird. It's such a catch twenty two because you're told, you know, it's a table reading, so the writers and directors and producers could hear it, and you know it's not really serious, but it is helpful, and then you see someone get fired. It's like, wait a minute, I thought this wasn't. Seriously, it's like having a practice and we're all right, we're going half speed here, and then you get you get cut because you didn't go a hundred percent. It's just so confusing. But more so than like scenes get cut. The thing that usually happens with table reads, especially with comedy as jokes. So if you're and that's why I always prepared really heavily for table readings, because if your jokes don't get laughs at table readings, they get cut it. Yeah, so I think that it's like making the most of your reps and to get the sports reference. If you're in camp, it's like, you know, every rep counts, So if you have even the smallest joke, you better hit it because it most of the time will get cut if it doesn't work. I didn't tell you this, but our Monday unleashed production calls kind of work the same. So if you don't really bring it on the Monday call, you still might get cut from the show. Um No, but you've told me that your character does get more of like a evolution coming up, and I can tell we're on the precipice of it. Were you excited in real time as you notice like, oh my god, they've turn to like doing stuff. Now with Saigon, you're like in the game, you're managing him. Were you like, oh, my character is gonna get a little bit bigger here. Yes, definitely was the latest to develop and get his sort of blow up. And I think it was just because also in real life, I was the youngest and probably the most inexperienced actor of the crew coming in. But yeah, this is around the time. The Saigon stuff was really really cool because he turned the character had no direction whatsoever other than just Vince is the greatest actor of all time. I'm going to smoke a lot of weed and that's it. So when Saigon comes in, you get the first little, you know, glimmer of entrepreneurship from Turtle. But there is more coming. There's more coming for you. You getting this co host job has been the best thing that ever happened to me because now I'm loving It's like my new favorite show. And then I'm gonna watch Power after this. So when I'm done with Entourage, I'm watching Power. Oh well that good. Wow, Olivia. I think I should actually apologize because you got me for like a hundred and fifty episodes. Still that's gonna I mean, my lud, I wouldn't. I don't think i'd subject my kids to that. I'm sorry, Hey, they're gonna watch one day, They're gonna want to watch this. It's every episode I watched too. I think about your kids watching now. Anytime you do something really inappropriate, I'm like, Oh, that's gonna be an awkward one. Yeah, I know I need. I need like a very g rated Disney kind of I just I would love to do a project right now that I could show my kids like now, that would be the coolest. I think that would be one of the coolest things in my career if I could get there. So I'm gonna try. I'm not really thought of for those movies. You've got a great voice, though, you'd be great in like a cartoon voiceover. That's what kids do. Yeah, I'm just gonna have to write my own and get my own That's yeah, that's the way to do it. I love it. All right, one more next week? All right, now, let's get into some Week three wagering with our bet MGM betting analy list, our odds on favorite Peter Andrew Seahawks, Jinkser welcome back to the show, buddy. How are you doing today? Some may say I went three for three of my picks. I know the numbers show two for three, but we know why that third one hit from me. Yeah, let's do a brief recap. You're up one point four units total on the week. You won the Dolphins game, as did I the Texans at three units each, then the reverse jinks, but you actually kind of hit that one in the single game partlight like you're getting closer on though. I'm gonna I'm actually gonna ride with you this week, but this is a big one. We gotta start getting this up number. The one point four units, we gotta work on that and get up a little bit more. Yeah, how are you feeling about Week three? No more reverse Jinxes this week. I think we're gonna just go what I'm feeling in my heart. Not going to toy with your heart and your Seahawks. But I feel really good about these. I think it was an amazing last week. I mean, there was incredible games. The Dolphins game was unbelievable, at risk of not covering anywhere close to that three and a half for lots of the game, but to uh, I mean we talked a lot of shit about in between Wattle and to kill. I mean he might have what it takes to get over the hump this year. We were actually talking about that earlier in the show of such mixed reviews onto a tongue of below. It's I don't know what this guy has done everyone, but there's like a firm to a hate fan club in the media. Where do you fall on that, Peter? Uh, I have a good buddy who's a huge, annoying Dolphins fan, So I've leaned on the hate side. Now after what do you throw six touchdowns on Sunday, I'm kind of back on the wagon. I mean, he's never really done anything too for people to hate him. I mean, he was amazing at Bama National Championship, comes in, wins the title. He's had a mediocre at best offense up until this year. Obviously they have a wider Super one now, so it's a bit unfair. I do it for personal reasons, but I think they're leget and they've they've got a really good defense too. You're such a heel, Peter. This is a season two Pete. Now, Oh are you kind of villain? Yeah? Full heel turn. Definitely not wearing any trolling shirts this week. All right, so that we got our ten units at play again this week. Okay, how you spreading him out this week? Where are we going first? So we'll go top of the in the first Niners Broncos Sunday Night Football. It's given a bit of research on this because one of those games that Russ always wakes up for was those Seahawk Niners games. They were the obviously biggest rival for probably sevent eight years. I'm taking the over, so it's already moved from forty three and a half to forty five and a half last I want to say, last six seasons. I think it's been eleven or twelve games the points have gone over when Russ plays the Niners. I know that's not a like for like comparison, brand new team, but I think, like I said, he wakes up for those games. I think he's excited they have something to prove after pretty awful performances in two straight weeks. I know they won against the Texans, but not convincingly. It's so uh total right now is I think somewhere around forty six and a half or four I'm sorry, forty five and a half. I like that to go over. I think it's a decently high scoring game, and you know, the Niners side in me, this is a weirdly good thing for the Niners because in the short term the win. Now, I think Jimmy's probably more capable tray was the super high ceiling high upside can do the crazy, freakishly good plays. But Jimmy came in, and I mean the offense was like it was last year, where they're running lots of play action, getting lots of different wide receivers targets. Had no Kiddle. Still, I think he'll be back for this week, so they probably come in and fall suit the same way they did last week too, So I love the over. How quick do you think Kyle Shannon had the Jimmy G playbook ready when Trey went out he was in his back pocket. Did he just pull it right out, like, oh, here it is, let's go, let's go. They wanted to say no, it wasn't, but was yeah, exactly, all right? So that's three units. You like that? Yeah? Three units there? All right? What else? So? Second one? Two high scoring teams Bills Dolphins. They play in Miami this week, totals high, but people both teams are putting up. Diggs was unbelievable on Monday Night football three touchdowns hit a one game party there that I'll talk about after this, But I think between those two offenses there's gonna be points. I mean, you can easily see a thirty to twenty seven game. I don't think that's a ridiculous number to point out, and I can see that number going a little bit higher. So as soon as you see that fifty four, I'd take it. And like we said about the Dolphins Waddle and to re kill fantasy wise putting up forty points each multiple touchdown games, Waddle look like a real wide receiver one too. So there are scary offense right now until otherwise seen Pete. How high would you take that total? Probably fifty seven would be my cap. Anything after that, and and again that's when the public starts pounding something like the over. I think public is gonna pound the bills. So that's why I'm kind of sticking away from the spread there because I can go either way. But I think points wise are in a way better spot. Assuming weather's great, assuming everything's all good in Miami. I think both teams are going to come out and spread the ball around. All right, that's six units. You've got four more remaining. So I'm doing the same as last week three three three, and then the O G P for one the third three unit play Jets Jets four and a half. I think it's at right now. Bengals do not look good. They are not the same team as last year. I think we've talked about it. They're a little bit of a fraud team here. I know they came back against Cowboys, but they just don't look the same as they did, and I think it's because they're not surprising teams this year. I think they're coming out and obviously there's in the Super Bowl, so I'm not totally convinced on them. Offensive line has been very suspect. And then on the other side of the ball, I know it's Joe Flacco, but it was kind of the Garrett Wilson coming out party. I think he probably is and can be the best receiver in the draft. Hundred and twenty plus yards, two touchdowns, came back after a scary hit out of bounds. Looks like everything he's hyped up to be. I think again, four and a half points. They probably went it out right in my opinion, but I'll take the points just to be safe there. Who would have thought going in Week three before the season, if we were to look at the late week three, would we have thought that Jets Bengals might kind of be a good game? Come on, Yeah, that's especially with Joe Flacco playing not Zach Wilson. Seriously. Yeah, I lost their left tackle, their quarterback. But yeah, taking the Jets. Wow, okay, you got one left. Walk us through your parlay. Yep. So it's been tough tough pickings. I know Week one we almost had it. We were just missing in a rob touchdown. Last week was a little bit tougher for this week Thursday Night football, Steelers at Browns. I got five things in this so one chub over eighty five rushing yards. He got that really late in the fourth quarter last week. I think he goes over again. Friar move four plus receptions he have five last week. I think he's proving to be the number one reception target for Mitch. I think he's the safety play. He had touchdown last week. I said five five receptions, So he's going to be relied on Brown's money line, so I think they win. The five and a half seems like a little bit of a shady line there. I think a divisional game with a weird spread like that, I stick to the money line and be safe. I think it's somewhere around minus two and then both running backs to score, so Chubb and Agie Harris both score touchdown. I think Chub safe. Assumption. Naji in the in the red zone, I think is a good one too. So you're looking at yeah, we got on that. I like that one. Yeah, so plus thirteen hundreds, so I think all pretty pretty reasonable things to hit. And you know, a ten dollar bet, when's your undred thirty bucks? Hundred dollar dred bucks? Not too shabby, and uh, I'm riding high. Like I said before, I had a great one game parlay for Monday Night football. I had Josh Allen over yards, I had Digs over yards, and I actually had Digs two plus touchdowns at plus. It was a little bit of a late player, else we would have shared it. But I'm feeling good after that one while it's full. Well, let's not have a habit of you losing the ones you give us and then you're hitting the ones wrest start taking this on Monday afternoon. Yeah, we're gonna have to do emergency conferences for Monday night football and maybe do some spaces and and share our Yeah that's what Twitter is for. I guess right exactly. Yeah, p any promos this week? Yeah, in terms of promotions, I mean, it's been a crazy first two weeks. But if you haven't gotten to bed MGM and signed in for account, first bet completely risk free up to thousand dollars, really really simple. All you need to do is download the app, log in, so create an account, usual named password, make sure you get verified obviously, and then that first bet completely risk free, so if you lose it, you get up to thousand dollars in free bets. It's a no brainer, especially if you want to take a shot on something like this one game parlay or one of our picks. You'll get that stick back immediately after the bet settles if you don't win, which I hope you do. Love it. Thanks Pete, We'll talk to you next week, all right, Peter. Thanks guys. Okay, Jerry, I think I need whatever Brad is drinking because he is high high energy. That was a really fun episode. Yeah, we needed that. Yeah, we gotta definitely hit him up and find out what he had what he had in the cup there because we need some of that. Yeah. Absolutely, Well that was a fun episode, a lot of good football to get to. I don't know if there's any way Week three can be as good as Week too. I gotta admit, listen, you could always count on something that will surprise us. Week one was a great slate, Week too, crazy comebacks. Week three. I mean, this is the best show on TV. It really is.
