Have you ever wondered what happens to a body after a person dies? Body farms have a lot of answers to that question. Only a handful of states have body farms, but the ones that do, also have a subset of forensic scientists who work at these body farms and study what happens to the human body after death. 

These scientists then allow police departments across the country to use their knowledge and studies to help solve homicides and answer questions like how, when, and where a person died.
