Three of the most important lessons my mum ever taught me were... don't wear black and navy together, never chase after a bus, train or a man, and don't judge a book by it's cover. Admittedly, I've made a few questionable fashion choices and chased more than a few buses and boys in my time - cringe. But I can honestly say that when it comes to first impressions, I'm all about those second chances... and thank-god I'm not the only one...
