Un Rangoon Ki Udaan! (The Flight of Those Colours) Podcast - 2026-3-1

Opening Track : Sabka Mangal Translation

Mangal = Sacred harmony, divine well-being, sacred blessings, auspiciousness, divine alignment

SONG LYRICS

Tera mangal, tera mangal, tera mangal hoye re
May you be blessed (divine alignment, not just moral goodness.)

Sab ka mangal, sab ka mangal, sab ka mangal hoye re
May all be blessed

Jis gurudev ne dharm diya hain, unka mangal hoye re
May the one who showed me the path of Dharma (righteousness)  be blessed (my Guru) May auspicious grace be upon the Guru who awakened me to Dharma righteous living.

Jis janani ne janam diya hain, uska mangal hoye re
May sacred grace be upon the mother who brought me into this world (Janani = Mother ) Janani carries tenderness and reverence — not just “mother,” but the sacred giver of life.

Paala posa aur badhaya, uss pita ka mangal
May auspicious grace be upon the father who lovingly raised me.

Iss jagat ke sab dukhiyare, praani ka mangal hoye re
May auspicious grace be upon every suffering being in this world.

Jal main, sthal main, aur gagan main, sabka mangal hoye re
May all beings in water, on earth and in the sky be blessed

Antar mann ke gaathe toote, antar nirmal hoye re
May the inner knots dissolve, and my heart be rendered clear, unstained. and purified. (A shift from blessing others to inner liberation — from outer compassion to inner purification.

Raag dwesh aur moh mitt jaaye, sheel samadhi hoye re
May attachment, hatred, and delusion be destroyed, and may virtue and inner peace arise. This line completes the arc from outer blessings → universal well-being → inner purification → spiritual liberation, moving from worldly auspiciousness to inner spiritual awakening.

Shuddh dharm dharti par jaage, paap parajit hoye re
May pure Dharma (righteousness) awaken across the earth, and may all darkness be vanquished. This line expands from: Parents Guru All beings Inner purification To finally: the awakening of Dharma (righteousness) in the whole world.

Iss dharti ke tar tin main, kan kan main dharm samoye re
May the whole earth, down to its tiniest particle - its every atom - be imbued with Dharma righteousness. It beautifully follows the earlier lines — moving from personal blessings → universal well-being → inner purification → cosmic righteousness.

Shuddh dharm jan jan main jaage, ghar ghar shanti samoye re
May the spirit of pure Dharma (pure righteousness) awaken in every soul, and may serenity, peace and harmony pervade every household. This line mirrors the previous cosmic aspiration, bringing the blessing from universal pervasiveness → into individual hearts and households, completing the flow from outer cosmos to inner life.

Tera mangal, mera mangal, sab ka mangal hoye re
May blessings be upon you, upon me, and upon all. This is the culminating line of the blessing, bringing together personal, interpersonal, and universal well-being — a joyful, all-encompassing prayer.
