After five years since her last studio album release, Zonke is set to release her sixth album Embo which celebrates a return to her origins and the rich experiences of the '70s and 80- a time when bands ruled and music was live, with fans and musicians feeding off one of the golden ages of music. Setting a solid foundation for her upcoming national tour, Embo, to be released on 24 March, meaning origins, emphasises that the singer, with the no-compromise approach to her music and carving her path with soul at its centre, resulting in a body of work that aims to be part of her fans DNA. "It's been a long journey creating Embo. Returning to my origins was a long process that had its roots during the Covid lockdown. That was when I began writing and vetting material for Embo. I couldn't just write and throw songs out there. I knew that if I was going back and was to reflect on my musical origins honestly, I had to capture the essence of the 70s and 80s- the time of real music." Loyiso Gola (born 16 May 1983) is a South African stand-up and TV comedian. He is the co-creator and anchor of the late-night satirical news television series Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola on e.tv and eNCA, launched in 2010, and has performed internationally. His television career began with appearances on SABC 1 in the Phat Joe Live talk show in 2002, and subsequently on the SABC 1 Pure Monate Show sketch comedy series created by comedians David Kau and Kagiso Lediga in 2003.

Born in the Eastern Cape, Smama is a qualified medical doctor with an MBChB degree from the University of Cape Town, though music has always been his first love. It was at UCT when he first entertained the idea of writing songs and later followed by releasing his first gospel project titled “Ndiphelele” in 2012. Prior to releasing his album, in 2009 Smama had written the song “Ndicel’impilo” for gospel star Lundi Tyamara. This was followed by two additional songs titled “Ndim Lo Nkosi” and “Ngemini ezinje”. That year the song “Ndicel’impilo” which he had written for Lundi was nominated at The Crown Gospel Music awards for the Best Traditional Gospel song.

Odwa Mzuzo Ndungane born on the 20th of February 1981 in Mthatha, South Africa is a former rugby union player that played first class rugby between 2000 and 2017. He played on the wing and spent the bulk of his career playing for the Sharks in the Super Rugby competition. He made his Test debut against Italy in a 26–0 victory in Cape Town in 2008 ahead of, amongst others, his twin brother Akona. He retired after the 2017 Currie Cup Premier Division. Shauwn Mkhize, better known as ‘Mamkhize’ was born and raised in the village of Embumbulu in KwaZulu-Natal. Nsikayesizwe David Junior Ngcobo (born 11 February 1997), known professionally as Nasty C, is a South African rapper, songwriter, and record producer. After releasing three mixtapes, one being "Undisputed" and two EPs, Ngcobo released his debut album Bad Hair (2016), and Strings and Bling (2018) which was associated and supported by his first tour, The Ivyson Tour. He was the youngest recipient of an award at the 2015 South African Hip Hop Awards, namely the Best Freshman Award. In March 2020, Nasty C signed a joint venture deal with Def Jam Records, and released his United States official single after joining Def Jam, "There They Go", which gained him global recognition, he then released his third album on 28 August 2020, and his first on the label which is titled Zulu Man with Some Power (2020).

Benjamin Dube (23 January 1962) is a South African gospel recording artist who rose to fame in the early 80's. Over the years he has released several albums which have reached gold and platinum status in the South African music rankings.
