Tyrannocoreus is PBS’ home of hardcore and its many sub genres: Metalcore, Deathcore, Grindcore, Punk, Djent and many more. Every fortnight Ryan will be looking back at the history of how these scenes originated, the artists that helped expand sub genres into their own growing scenes, groups that helped influence the modern metalcore/hardcore genre and looking at bands who have transcended these genres over the duration of their careers. Ryan will also be sure to play a large number of new released music, and deep dive into bands discographies from lesser known releases.

Expect a huge emphasis on local, unsigned and female dominant bands in the scene, as well as Australian labels such as UNFD, Greyscale, AVVC, Summit Distro, Stiffcut Records and The Dream Divison, and Resist. On top of that Ryan will be discussing the latest gigs, whether it's a local show or a local band supporting a headliner, and there will be a plethora of interviews from both local and international acts.
