She commands audiences, delivers with conviction, and is not afraid to go into battle to amplify the voices of those who cannot, Yasmin Poole is making a name for herself as one of the country’s most influential activists.
Although it wasn’t always this way, Yasmin was a shy child, who, after watching the treatment of her mother and other marginalised communities, began to find her voice. Since that day, she has used it to tirelessly make change for women, Indigenous Australians, youth, and anyone who does have the privilege of using their own voice.
Yasmin is an aspiring young activist, Rhode Scholar, and political commentator, who redefines what hard work is, living by the mantra “your freedom is my freedom.”
