On today’s pod I have ‘Joel Creasey.’ Comedian, radio host amongst many other things, he is now the host of 'ABC Australia’s' latest lifestyle program ‘New Leash on Life!’ Which starts this week.

Across 6 very different episodes, ‘Joel Creasey’ and leading dog behaviourist 'Laura V' work towards a mutual rescue of dogs that have been left at a western Australian Pond.

Audiences will sees a dog paired with a new owner each episode.. But these matches can be complex, and ‘Laura V’ must ensure the dog will work well in the prospective new home, and just as importantly, that the owner is the right fit for the dog. 

‘Joel’ is there as the voice of the people. He has his sharp wit and humour intact but we also see a very different side to him. I know ‘Joel’ personally and I have never seen him like this before. He is warm, caring and gets involved to make sure these dogs find a home. 

• I will talk about the decision to show a different side to the larger than life comedian that is Joel Creasey and why this show was the right fit for him.
• We will find out if all people should have dogs and why now more than ever the pounds around Australia are been inundated with dogs needing a home.
