This episode of the podcast is a must-listen for fans of Tom Cruise and Alejandro Iñárritu, as Ben and Brose dive into the world of Digger, a dark comedy that's as polarising as it is thought-provoking. The film, which stars Tom Cruise as the eccentric billionaire Digger Rockwell, has been making waves with its unique blend of satire and social commentary.

TV Reload discuss the film's ambitious scope, tackling topics like climate change, corporate responsibility and the dangers of unchecked power. They also delve into the performances of the supporting cast, including Riz Ahmed and John Goodman. Who bring their A-game to their respective roles. However, Ben can't help but feel that the film's reliance on satire and its tendency to hit the audience over the head with its message may be a turn-off for some viewers.

One of the main points of discussion is the film's use of Tom Cruise's iconic status, with the Brose wondering if the actor's presence is a blessing or a curse. They also touch on the film's visuals, which are stunning, but sometimes feel like they're trying too hard to be clever. TV Reload also discuss the film's themes, which are timely and thought-provoking but may not be to everyone's taste.

If you're looking for a film that will challenge your perspectives and make you think, then Digger might be the movie for you. But be warned: it's not for the faint of heart. Join Ben and Brose as they break down the film's complexities and discuss what makes it tick.
