You wouldn't believe what happens in a state that's four times the size of Texas but with less than 3 million people rattling around in it. All that space, where no-one can hear you scream, or laugh, or cry. Shit happens here (with a very Australian accent). Barefaced Stories are the true stories told by people raised under a chroma blue sky, on powdery white beaches, in aqua-clear waters and occasionally, deep down in the dirt - some are humourous, some are sad and some downright perverse.

Created in 2010 by performers Andrea Gibbs and Kerry O’Sullivan (“the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers of Australian storytelling” – Richard Fidler ABC Radio), Barefaced Stories is honest, risk-taking, refreshing entertainment that hits the spot.
