The Sydney Roosters win the opening game of NRL

played at  the new Allianz Stadium in Sydney

Before a massive crowd of 41,906, the Roosters dominated early to lead 20-6

at Halftime and held off a late Souths comeback in the 2nd half

to eventually win 26 points to 16.

They both now play each other again next weekend in week 1

of the 2022 Finals Series
