With most of the country on bushfire alert, Jay & Dave put in a call to Brianna Scully from Nine News Central Queensland and found out many residents around the Yappoon area was forced to go to evacuation centres.

As of last night, some residents were given the green light to head home to see if their houses survived the bushfire.
