Dave and Kylie surprise Brooke and Claire with a Rescue with Heart!

Dave & Kylie received a call at Heart 107.3 telling them about a family at Molesworth who have been doing it extremely tough.

Danon disease, a rare degenerative disease that is characterised by weakening of the heart muscles hit the family causing the death of one member and sickness in two others.

These health troubles, medical procedures and costs have meant renovations at the family home had to be put on hold and things are becoming rundown.

We discovered that one of the family members is Ellen Holmes, who was named Australian Young Carer of the Year in 2014.

Dave & Kylie rang Ellen to learn more about the family and see if there is anything we can do to help.
