A 22 year old Coffs Harbour man has been granted conditional bail in Coffs Harbour Local Court on Friday following his arrest in Sawtell on Thursday.
Kody Zecchinati was arrested by AFP and NSW Police officers at his Sawtell home in relation to allegations of possessing child abuse material and two prohibited firearms.
Appearing for the first time before Magistrate Ian Rodgers, Mr Zecchinati’s bail conditions were outlined.
He is to be of good behaviour, reporting daily to Police. The 22 year old is not apply for any new passport or travel documents, or go within 500m of any international airport or other point of departure from the Commonwealth of Australia.
Among other conditions he must not be in the presence of anyone 16 years or under, unless the accompanied by the young person's parent or guardian; or contact anyone 16 years old or under via landline telephone, mobile telephone, email, social networking site or other available internet messaging service.
The accused must not own, possess or use a mobile phone with internet access, or enter any internet cafe, public library or other place at which computers with access to the internet may be used by the public.
Mr Zecchinati is due to return to court on September 13.
