After uncovering a hidden parchment inside an old chest at the Barossa Regional Museum, archaeologist Alex Hartley, Sam Rivers and Jessie Flynn followed clues linking a centuries-old pirate legend to a lone palm tree near Kapunda. Their search led them underground, where evidence of a long-forgotten pirate presence suggested the mythical Barrel of Forever may be more than just local folklore.

In this next thrilling chapter, the trio follows the palm tree's secret trail to a hidden tunnel beneath Kapunda, uncovering markings, relics and clues that connect the Barossa Valley to a mystery buried for hundreds of years. As they venture deeper underground, they discover they are not alone. The opportunistic Vangrove twins are close behind, determined to claim whatever treasure awaits.
