Overtourism in Europe has become an increasing issue – so much that destinations are now putting strategies in place to manage the number for tourists coming in and the impact it is having.
Cities like Venice, Rome, Barcelona and Amsterdam are introducing everything from fines to caps to outright bans - with many saying we are entering a new era for tourism in Europe.
