After starring at Gardner-Webb for 4 seasons, Lauren Bevis has decided to play her graduate season at High Point University. The Preseason Big South Player of the Year is no stranger to the league, nor the area. Bevis played for the Winston-Salem Stealers while being home schooled throughout her high school career in the Triad. It was one specific influence within the AAU powerhouse that helped land her on the radar of the Runnin’ Bulldogs. And now, Bevis has an opportunity to play her home games somewhere that resonates so much with her own roots, and more importantly, at a critical time in her & her family's life.
