Poilievre says 'Canada seems broken' and survey finds many Canadians agree

View descriptionShare

Can the Liberals turn things around with a strong budget, and just how 'broken' are we?

Do Canadians feel their country is as "broken" as Pierre Poilievre says it is?  Listen to pollster Nik Nanos and host Michael Stittle discuss a new Nanos Research survey on how we're feeling about our country and our major institutions.

While Liberal support shot up with health care in the spotlight last month, there's been an opposite trend happening over the last four weeks. Nik and Michael discuss what might be driving that, as well as how the personal brands of Justin Trudeau and Poilievre are faring.

And we have a date for the federal budget: March 28. The stakes are high for the minority Liberals, who not only have to deal with the economy and a distressed health-care system, but have to worry about appeasing the NDP -- unless they want an election.
