Jewelle (Colwell Boldt) Zehr is a certified trauma recovery coach and the creator of The Art of Onward, a platform through which she guides clients to healing and rebuilding their lives after trauma by using the exact strategies that saved her own life. As a coach and trauma survivor, Jewelle focuses on inspiring others in their journeys to true healing and wholeness. In addition to her work as a coach, Jewelle is an award-winning actress, film and TV producer, and author. She is the creator and executive producer of SkyeLove Pictures and an actor and voice-over artist for Dark Horse Talent.

 

Jewelle joins us today to discuss betrayal trauma and rebuilding your life after surviving it. She opens up about the betrayal trauma she experienced in the summer of 2015 and her journey through healing and recovery. She explains the two dimensions of betrayal trauma and describes what it’s like to lose yourself after experiencing trauma. Jewelle also describes self-sabotage, why people choose chaos over peace, and the kind of work she did to heal from betrayal trauma.
