Tonight on Trackside, Kevin and Curt recap the race at Toronto, and Kevin’s rough travel schedule with technical difficulties keeping him seated on his plane for seven hours. They talk about how Kyle Kirkwood was the perfect teammate for Colton Herta this weekend, and how if Colton was second and Kirkwood was first, Herta might have been more aggressive at passing his teammate. They debate on whether the two teammates will be more competitive next time if this situation happens again, and they run through the field to talk about how Ganassi and Penske performed. They talk about the caution debacle that led to a huge pileup, and what IndyCar will do going forward.  Later on, Curt and Kevin talk about how Alex Palou has pulled away in the championship standings, with a 48-point cushion going into the last few races of the season. Curt talks about how good Palou has been on ovals, and how consistent Palou has been with always getting top 5s. They talk about how it would require Palou to finish 18th or worse in two races for him to lose the championship.   To round out the first hour, Kevin reads some listener tweets, and how Scott Dixon is Mr. IndyCar. He also answers a question about splitting up qualifying for cleaner laps.  In the second hour of the show, the two talk about the Brickyard 400 and Kyle Larson’s win, and the controversy surrounding the finish. Conor Daly and Marco Andretti competed in the Brickyard weekend, and Kevin and Curt talk about how they performed. The two also provide an update on Alexander Rossi’s injury, and when he will be back in the car. They discuss the options McLaren could have had outside of Theo Pourchaire for this weekend, and some drama around Pourchaire’s comments about McLaren. They also talk about Oliver Askew being on-site but not racing, and why they chose Pourchaire.  Later in the second hour, they talk about O’Ward and Palou during qualifying, and how Palou was penalized for impeding Pato’s lap. Kevin encourages the idea of single car qualifying, and how it would benefit teams and drivers. Curt brings up how that could cause issues timing wise, and prefers three groups.  Kevin ends the show talking about what they missed, and reading tweets, including predicting the Simpson caution. He also answers a question about Fox making Iowa go down to one race. 

Tonight, on Trackside with Kevin Lee and Curt Cavin, they talk about this past weekend’s IndyCar doubleheader at the Iowa Speedway with Team Penske continuing their dominance, but it wasn’t “The King of Corn Country”, Josef Newgarden, however his two teammates were victorious. Scott McLaughlin won the Hy-Vee Homefront 250 Saturday night for his first career oval win, while Will Power won the Hy-Vee One Step 250 Sunday night for his first win in Iowa. They talk about how the racing was subpar, especially for the new hybrid system, and how the crowd looked along with some revisions going throughout the speedway. They even talk about the crowd for the concerts from Luke Combs, Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini, and Post Malone.   Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin talks to Curt about how he benefited from watching the race from pit exit at Iowa from the broadcast this past weekend. They also talk about the late TV channel change from the Saturday night to CNBC as the world reacted to the assassination attempt of former President, Donald Trump.  To wrap up the first hour of the program, Kevin talks about some stats from the Iowa Speedway, previews the second hour of the show, including the Brickyard weekend on the return to the oval for the NASCAR Cup Series, and more racing at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.  To start the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt go through questions on Twitter, starting with how the Indy NXT Championship could play out, weather affecting the streets of Toronto, Hailie Deegan in the Indy NXT paddock, and more questions with the hybrid system.   Later in the second hour program, Kevin and Curt go through more Twitter questions, and talk more about Sting Ray Robb’s massive crash from Iowa and that he was cleared to return to racing this weekend at Toronto. They also provide some little silly season updates from Alexander Rossi and more.   Then to wrap up another addition of the show, Kevin talks fast thoughts about Hunter McElrea making his debut this weekend in Toronto and Robert Wickens winning in the Michelin Pilot Challenge at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. 

Tonight on a Wednesday edition of Trackside, Curt and Kevin recap an exciting race at Mid-Ohio. They also preview the HyVee IndyCar Weekend in Iowa. They talk about the new hybrid engine, but also how the cars will handle such a quck turn around between the two races. They talk about the repave, and how that will affect cars, and if it will make the racing better or worse. They also go into depth about how the hybrid will work on a short oval. Kevin believes the drivers won’t use the regen that much on the oval. They go into some of the plotlines of the Mid-Ohio race, including O’Ward’s drought of wins on-track.  Later on, Curt and Kevin provide more analysis on the Mid-Ohio race, including Andretti Global’s performance, and how they felt about the weekend, as well as other teams. They talk about Christian Rasmussen’s season coming to an end, and if he will be back with Ed Carpenter next year. Kevin and Curt talk about David Malukas and how his injury is healing, and how hard Iowa will be for him.  To round out the first hour, Kevin previews things to come in the second hour of the show.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt head to the X Box to answer some listener questions. They talk about the benefit of having the hybrid engine in the car, and how it is appealing to car manufacturers. The two talk about Prema Racing, and if Rossi will end up there, and who his teammates could be. They are also considering going to Rahal. Kevin talks about getting hired vs getting hired with a big check behind you.  Later in the the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about a funny tweet from Scott McLaughlin, and they go through every driver change at McLaren and why the drivers were changed. Kevin and Curt delve into the controversy about the caution flags not getting thrown until Josef Newgarden made it to the pits late in the race, and how they could resolve that problem.  Later in the the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt head to the X Box to answer some listener questions. They talk about the hybrid engine and how it will change the reliability of the cars, and how Herta had to save fuel at the end of the race. We also talk about Nolan Siegal taking over Theo Pourchaire’s seat. Kevin and Curt talks about how Siegel has talent, but he also has a budget behind him that can benefit McLaren, especially with his dad’s connections to Fortune 500 companies. Kevin talks about how business is important in motorsports, and Siegel’s connections are perfect for the team.  Later in the the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about why McLaren has had such controversy with retaining drivers, and how easy it is to get fired in racing, and how drivers can make it difficult for teams to get rid of them. Kevin talks about the return of Agustin Canapino, and why he wasn’t ready for Road America. They also touch on Canapino admitting he did not handle the situation with Pourchaire correctly.  To round out the first hour, Kevin heads to the Xbox to read some questions sent to him by listeners, including the musical chairs at McLaren.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt delve more into the broadcasting schedule with Fox in 2025. Tonight on Trackside, we recap Penske’s dominant performance at Road America, and what led to their success. We hear about the reason why Will Power’s celebration was so emotional in victory lane after his win, and the health problems his wife has had. They also talk about the likelihood of Power retiring after his contract expires, and why he is considering stepping away from racing in the future. They also talk about how the tires performed on the track, and how that led to different strategies during the race. They also talk about Newgarden running into the back of Colton Herta, which ruined Herta’s race, and Herta’s harsh comments on the officiating.  Later in the the first hour of the show, Curt and Kevin provide a brief recap of Milwaukee testing, including David Malukas’ performance, and how the track handled. They also talk about the state of the Iowa track, and how messy the surface is after NASCAR had parts of it repaved.  To round out the first hour, Kevin talks about the Le Mans broadcast, and Jackson Lee’s Michelin Pilot Challenge race that he ran over the weekend. He talks about the crowd and atmosphere there, and how the car performed for him.  In the second hour of the show, Curt and Kevin delve into IndyCar hybrid testing with Eric Smith of IndyCar.com. Smith talks about the changes to the track since the last visit in 2015, and how pit road feels a lot better than it has in previous years. He talks about what the drivers used the session for, and their thoughts on the engine. They also talk about the amount of studying that will go into the new engines to get a leg-up over the competition. He also talks about David Malukas and his thoughts on the test.  Later in the second hour, Kevin and Curt go more into detail about the race at Road America, and Agustin Canapino’s absence from the race. They also talk about Nolan Siegel filling in for Canapino at Road America, and how he performed, and the future for him in IndyCar. They also discuss Canapino and how sponsors view him.  Kevin ends the show looking at some listener tweets, and a little more on the Milwaukee test. 

Tonight on Trackside, we recap a crazy Detroit Grand Prix. Curt and Kevin recap the Grand Prix and talk about their reaction to it. They also talk about Kyle Larson’s waiver finally being granted by NASCAR, and controversy with Agustin Canapino and Theo Pourchaire. Kevin believes that racing is a financial business, and even if the track is not perfect, there is serious financial gain to be had from racing at this location. He believes that having one wreck-filled race a year is not all that bad for teams, and fans like chaos.  Later in the the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about Scott Dixon. We hear about how Alex Palou’s season has not been as dominant as it had been in previous years, and now Scott Dixon is a challenger for the championship win. They talk about Scott Dixon approaching AJ Foyt’s win record, and if he can surpass it in his career.  To round out the first hour, Kevin answers some listener questions, like lack of fans at oval races, Ed Carpenter swapping cars, and more.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about Flavor Flav, and his being Will Power’s hype man. Kevin recounts a story of Power at qualifying in Detroit, and how Flav made sure he was in the camera shot during an interview to promote his brand. We talk about Will Power’s comments during the race about race control and answer other listener questions. They also talk about David Malukas and what team he could come back and race for this season and next season, and Tom Blomqvist being removed from Meyer-Shank. They also talk about the conflict with Santino Ferrucci and Kyle Kirkwood.  Later in the second hour, Kevin and Curt talk about the controversy with Agustin Canapino and Theo Pourchaire, and the threats Pourchaire received for crashing with Canapino during the race. We hear about IndyCar’s stance on the issue, what Canapino had to say, and how Juncos is taking the controversy, and how hard it would be to regulate these types of threats.  Kevin ends the show paying homage to racing legend Parnelli Jones. It was announced that Jones passed during the show, and Kevin talks about his accomplishments, and we hear a statement from PJ Jones, Parnelli’s son.

Curt and Kevin give all the details on Josef Newgarden’s second 500 win in a row, the last lap pass on Pato O’Ward, details you may have missed, and more! Kevin and Curt delve into the TV ratings, and what caused them to shoot up the way they did. They talk about the likelihood of moving the start time later, and how that wouldn’t be a good idea, and how accurate weather predictions were the day before the race.  Later in the the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about how historically impressive it was for Josef to win two in a row, the first time since Helio Castroneves in 2002. They go over some historical stats to show how important the race was in the history of the 500, and how Newgarden is the first American to win back-to-back since Al Unser in 1970-71. They also hit on the fact that Dixon has led more Indy 500s than anyone.  To round out the first hour, Kevin talks about Stewart-Haas shutting the doors of their NASCAR team. They talk about what may happen to the drivers on the team, and if Haas plans on leaving F1 and if Andretti will buy the F1 team to get on the grid.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about if the race was one of the best ever. Regardless, the fans were entertained. They talk about the red flags during the race last year, and how this year felt more natural and proper as the last part of the race had a long green flag stint. They talk about IndyCar drivers competing in NASCAR races, and the likelihood of more of these cross overs in the future. They also answer listener questions about why the race was so competitive and talk about Sting Ray Robb’s performance.  Later in the second hour, Kevin and Curt talk about Kyle Larson, and how he believes he let everyone down. We hear about the tug of war between Larson’s NASCAR team and his IndyCar team. Curt and Kevin talk about the star power of IndyCar drivers, and ratings for Qualifying and how good the streaming numbers were for Sunday. They talk about how easy it is to sit and watch qualifying now as opposed to how it used to be back in the 80s and 90s.   Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt talk about NASCAR giving Kyle Larson a waiver if he cannot make it to the Coca-Cola 600. There is a rule that says that all drivers have to compete, but Larson may get a pass because of the 500 and because it would damage the look of the sport if they did not give him a waiver. They talk about Simon Pagenaud helping Scott McLaughlin, and how Dario Franchitti had to stop abruptly like Pagenaud too. Should Larson forgo his ride, would the league bend the rules and get Tony Kanaan behind the wheel? Is Nolan Siegel the only driver that could sub? Malukas said himself he wasn’t physically able to.  Kevin and Curt end the show talking to Kaylee Bryson about her racing career in USAC. She talks about her mentors, and her first USAC feature win. She talks about coming up the ranks, and where she wants to go with her racing career.

They talk about the latest on the Kyle Larson situation, and the weather for the 500. They talk about the ratings bump that Larson brought to qualifying, and if Tony Kanaan will run test laps on Thursday. They also discuss whether Larson will get a waiver if he misses the Coca Cola 600, and where NASCAR would draw the line. They also go into detail about what would happen if Larson couldn’t race, and who would take his spot. Nolan Siegel is presented as an option for an alternate.  Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt head to the X box to answer some listener questions, including questions about the pace car’s look, and the possibility of a Honda Pace car. Kevin talks about whether they will refer to Will Power as the points leader during the 500, and why IMS chose Ken Griffey Jr. to drive the pace car. Conor Daly joins Curt and Kevin first, and talks about his month of May so far. Conor talks about Dreyer and Reinbold Racing, and how they could compete the whole season if they wanted to. James Hinchcliffe gives some analysis on practice today, and how good Penske cars are. Conor talks about 100 Days to Indy, and an odd question Kevin was asked about comparing Scott Dixon and Conor Daly. We also hear from Romain Grosjean, Agustín Canapino, Ryan Hunter-Reay and Santino Ferucci.   Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt talk to the founders of Cluster Truck and talk to them about how Cluster Truck works. We also hear from some of the other donors to the Burger Bash.  Kevin and Curt end the first hour talking about what will happen during the second hour of the show, including upcoming driver appearances.  In the second hour, Sting Ray Robb joins the show to talk about some of the sponsors that made his ride at IMS possible, his upcoming marriage, and what he likes about Indiana. He talks about the porch parties he saw after the race around IMS, and how his month of May has been so far. He talks about some gremlins in the car, but also the confidence he has going into the 500. They recap what happened to rookie Nolan Siegel’s airborne crash that took him out early in the day. They also talk about the new setup for Santino Ferruci and how well Penske and McLaren look as Ganassi seems to struggle.   Later in the show, Kevin and Curt talk more about Kyle Larson during his time in practice so far in the 500, and his scenarios with his NASCAR schedule conflicting with their All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro and the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte.  Then to wrap up another addition of the show, Kevin talks fast thoughts about the passing of Eddie Gossage, numerous engine changes, and the snake that met its unfortunate demise.

They go down the speed charts, and talk about no-toe speeds, and how they sometimes can be deceiving. Kevin talks about what he heard from teams, and why some teams don’t think using the qualifying sim today posed much benefit. Curt talks about how Kyle Larson is fairing at IMS, and if he is enjoying the experience or not, and the precarious position he is in. They compare Larson’s laps turned to other drivers and show how few laps he has run. They talk about the two crashes on track, and the fact that Marcus Ericsson will have to go to a backup car.  Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt talk about the amount of practice time the teams have had so far. They answer questions about when drivers realize they are in trouble for bumping, and they talk about some of the drivers who may be concerned about their position. Kevin talks about how most teams do not want to be anywhere near 30th. They also answer a question about the extra boost only being used on Friday.  Kevin and Curt round out the show previewing Fast Friday.

Curt gives his thoughts on how comfortable Pato O’Ward feels, and how he thinks he will do during the race.  Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt talk about the incident on track with Colton Herta and Christian Rasmussen in which Herta flipped Rasmussen off. They talk about which rookies stood out most during the race. They also go into detail about what you can expect tomorrow and how teams feel with the weather as rough as it has been.  Kevin and Curt round out the show providing a schedule for tomorrow’s track activities, what the show will look like tomorrow, and more!

They talk about qualifying speeds, and if there will be a new track record this year. Curt believes you may see a 2-lap average record being broken, but probably not a new track record. They break down the weather for the rest of the week. They talk about the rivalry between Santino Ferucci and Romain Grosjean, and how that will play out the rest of the month of May.  Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt head to the X Box to answer some listener questions. They talk about IndyCar’s TV partner for next year, they also go through driver-by-driver and talk about how each of them did during the Sonsio Grand Prix. They also delve into Pato O’Ward’s performance, and the woes he has had with his team, and Colton Herta’s comments about Marcus Ericsson.   Kevin and Curt round out the show talking about the schedule for tomorrow, what cars didn’t turn laps, and the status of Tony Kanaan on turning laps at the track in case Kyle Larson cannot compete due to a rain delay. They both talk about how they thought AlexPalou would dominate the race, which he did. They highlight how both Will Power and Christian Lundgaard thought Power had the better car, but Palou was just that impressive. Alex Palou earns pole as Christian Lundgaard completes the front row. Colton Herta and Lundgaard were fastest in their respective practice sessions. Curt even dives into some play-by-play action of his own as Jacob Abel goes back-to-back and wins the Indy NXT race at the Indianapolis road course! Curt talks about the misfortunes of some drivers for today such as Graham Rahal and Colton Herta.   Later in the show, Kevin and Curt, Kevin joins us as he gets done with his call on the Indy NXT race. They recap the race with Jacob Abel’s second consecutive win and Jamie Chadwick earning her first podium in the series! They both talk about the driver's different tire strategy for qualifying and for tomorrow's race and who could be the biggest mover of the race, and if anyone could catch up to Alex Palou and Will Power.   Then to wrap up another addition of the show, Curt and Kevin make their race predictions for tomorrow’s Sonsio Grand Prix.

Tonight, Kevin and Curt talk about the upcoming schedule for the month of May has finally arrived! It’s race week for the Sonsio Grand Prix! They talk about yesterday's races with Lando Norris’s maiden win yesterday in the F1 Miami Grand Prix and Kyle Larson beating Chris Buescher in the NASCAR Cup race at Kansas by 0.001 in the closest finish in series history. They also talk about Theo Pourchaire recent oval testing at the World Wide Technology Raceway, and if he could potentially replace Kyle Larson if there are any conflicting issues with his NASCAR schedule.  Later in the the show, Kevin and Curt answer some listener questions, including about bets from the St. Pete Grand Prix, and what to do with car counts exceeding the track number. The two talk about Josef Newgarden getting hit by Colton Herta at Long Beach, and what lays ahead for the month of May.  Kevin and Curt rounded out the show reading a few more user tweets, including who will drive David Malukas’ car in the 500 this year.

They also highlight the performance of Linus Lundqvist.  Later in the first hour of the show, the two delve back into the details of Josef Newgarden’s cheating scandal and provide more information on what it means for the series, and if Penske telling on itself is a good or bad sign for the sport.  Kevin and Curt rounded out the first hour previewing the second hour and talking about May.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt give a more in-depth recap of the race at Barber. They talk about who performed well, who didn’t, and drama with Pato O’Ward and McLaren. They also talk about the incident involving Georgina the Mannequin. Conor gives his thoughts on the DQ, and how this has never happened during his time in IndyCar. He states that he is not bothered by the fact that it took them this long to figure out. Conor gives some insight on using the push to pass button, and how drivers will not typically try to use it on a restart. The two talk about the poor viewership of the Long Beach Grand Prix. With the month of May looming, so does 2025, and there are already looks for new faces in new places as Kevin and Curt discuss early silly season predictions.  Kevin ends the first hour of the show teasing the Indy 500 entry list and the newly joined team, Prema Racing.  In the second hour of Trackside, Kevin and Curt talk about previous Long Beach winners that became series champions and other successful Long Beach winners. The two debate on if Conor Daly will have to do his refresher test or not.  Kevin and Curt round out the first hour clarifying on who will be competing in the open test. Kevin gives a review on the Vukovich: The Man Who Wouldn’t Lift that they talked about last week, and he talks about some interesting things he read in the book.   In the second hour of the show, they talk about Abel Motorsports and the likelihood of them racing in May, and the status of David Malukas. Tonight, Curt and Kevin talk about testing at IMS coming up. They also talk about a new book that Mark Montieth uncovered written by Angelo Angelopoulos about Bill Vukovich’s racing career. They talk about the eclipse at IMS and how IndyCar’s show 100 Days to Indy will help the series gain popularity. Kevin and Curt give updates on the state of the Long Beach Grand Prix, and Jerry Forsythe buying up Kevin Kalkhovin’s stock in the race.  Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt discuss the Thermal Grand Prix. They talk about how the race filled a big gap in the schedule, and allowed for people to keep talking about IndyCar, as opposed to radio-silence for several weeks. Curt believes that they should eliminate cars at the end of each lap to ensure more battling for position. Curt makes the point that the race at Thermal could lead to more sponsorship deals being made at the race with wealthy businesspeople.  Kevin rounds out the first hour looking at some tweets, answering questions including if NASCAR buying the Long Beach GP was overhyped. They also talk about the amount of money going towards the IndyCar race at Texas.  In the second hour of the show, the two revisit the power of a show like 100 Days to Indy, and preview their segment with Mark Montieth.  Later in the second hour, former IndyStar writer Mark Montieth joins the show to talk about a new book that Angelo Angelopoulos wrote back in the 60s about Bill Vukovich that was never released. Montieth talks about how he uncovered the manuscript, and got the book published. Montieth talks about some of the things he had to change about the book, and how there was not a whole lot that needed to change. Kevin gives some insight on the life of a crew member, and how tough the job is. Kevin discusses how this race will benefit the Thermal Club, and the crowd size.  Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about the upcoming test at IMS and how it will be streamed on Peacock. They discuss IMSA’s schedule being released, and what can be gleaned from IndyCar’s future schedule from the IMSA schedule. Kevin discusses the success of crossover drivers from NASCAR in the past, including Robby Gordon, Tony Stewart, and John Andretti. They talked about the financial status of DRR, and the likelihood of the team going full time soon. Curt talks about the possibility of RC Enerson and Abel Motorsports competing at the 500 also.  Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin talks about a controversial topic, a charter system. Kevin explains that owners in other sports can cash out, something that does not exist in IndyCar under the current Leader Circle system. With that came somewhat of a controversial finish as IMSA race officials ended the race prematurely. This was also Roger Penske’s first win at the 24 Hours of Daytona since 1969. They also talk about how the other IndyCar drivers performed in the race.   Later in the show, Kevin and Curt talk more about the upcoming Brad Pitt racing movie as they get a little more insight into what it’s about. They also talk more about the engine suppliers for the Indy 500 and for the future of the sport.  Kevin ends the show by reading some questions on Twitter.

The two discuss the speed of the hybrid, and how it will do at Indy.  Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about more details involving DHL leaving Andretti to go to Ganassi, and what spurred that decision. Kevin proposes some other engine manufacturers that could replace Honda if worse comes to worse.   Kevin rounds out the first hour previewing the second hour.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt debate Callum Ilott’s possible return to the Indy 500 now that he has a WEC ride lined up for next season. He also reflects on his time with Meyer Shank Racing, and how it feels to take Marcus Ericsson’s place. He talks about how hard he worked to get the ride and get into IndyCar in general. He also talks about his humble beginnings and his early days of racing with his family running his team. Lundqvist also talks a little about hybrid engines.  Later in the first hour of the show, Curt and Kevin talk about Alex Palou’s legal woes, and how Palou needed to have it in writing that he was going to get a chance at F1.   Kevin rounds out the first hour reading some tweets including car counts in Indy NXT. In the second hour of the show, they talk more about Jamie Chadwick and a commercial that she did for IBM. They also preview the James Hinchcliffe segment and talk about what he may be doing next season. They talk about some possible new IndyCar street races, and another event like Thermal that could be on the horizon.  During the second hour, James Hinchcliffe joins the show. Hinchcliffe talks about the possibility of racing sports cars, how it is harder for IndyCar drivers to race sports cars full time now, and Hinchcliffe’s Speed Group that Kevin is now a part of. They also talk about why some IndyCar fans were not onboard with the Las Vegas F1 race. They also talk about circuit issues, and the manhole covers during the F1 practices, and compare them to prior IndyCar incidents. They also discuss how IndyCar can benefit from the success of F1.   Later in the first hour of the show, Curt previews an upcoming interview with Jeff Gluck, and the two talks about car counts for the Indianapolis 500 so far, and for the rest of the season. Kevin breaks down what seats will be open for the 500. They also talk about some of the one-off drivers who could compete in the 500 this year that have not been announced yet. They also give their thoughts on whether there will be 38 cars or not.  Kevin rounds out the first hour looking at a few more options for one-off 500 rides, including Callum Ilott and James Hinchcliffe.   In the second hour of the show, Curt and Kevin look at the possibility of an IndyCar race in Argentina in 2025. Kevin and Curt answer questions about engine manufacturers, and Milwaukee tickets selling like “hot cakes.”  During the second hour, Jeff Gluck of the Athletic joins the show to recap the Las Vegas Grand Prix as a fan. He talks about how grand the event was, and how some Europeans were annoyed by how in-your-face the spectacle was. He also talks about how they did not use any reds or yellows in the displays to not distract the drivers. They also talk about other NASCAR drivers that could cross over to race the 500 besides Kyle Larson.  Kevin ends the show talking about F1 and IndyCar streaming possibilities, and a new face in Indy NXT.

Curt highlights some of the business ventures that Rahal is currently involved in, and how he has been trying to figure out how to balance those with his racing career. They talk about how much longer Rahal plans on racing, and if his statements about racing another 5 years are true. The two discuss where Kyffin Simpson may go in IndyCar, and who may fill the openings with Dale Coyne Racing, and the status of Benjamin Pedersen.  Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt look at some tweets and talk about why IndyCar will not return to Texas Motor Speedway. They also discuss the race at Thermal, and the likelihood that Andretti will get an F1 team, and some news about if F1 doesn’t want Andretti, or if they just don’t want another team.  Kevin rounds out the show looking at a few more tweets and previews the upcoming F1 race in Las Vegas.

More importantly, how Grosjean will mesh with Juncos and how he will mesh with his new teammate, Agustín Canapino. They also talk about Callum Ilott and his future in IndyCar. They also talk about who will be racing for Foyt next season.  Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin answers some tweets including one about Sergio Perez coming to IndyCar. They address the IndyCar game, and the possibility of more international races in the near future.  Kevin rounds out the first hour discussing Marcus Armstrong competing in the Macau Grand Prix F3 race, and James Hinchcliffe doing another Sky Sports F1 broadcast.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk about Indiana weather, NASCAR’s championship conclusion, and Carson Hocevar’s incident with Corey Heim where the two took each other out and cost. They also talk about how the final Cup race always ends with the top four championship finishers finishing one two three four in the final race.   Kevin and Curt talk to Jacob Abel midway through the second hour. Abel sheds light on how tough it is to drive around Sebring, the challenge of transitioning from an F2 car to an Indy NXT car. Abel looks forward at his goals for next season and where he will race primarily. Myles Rowe joins the show to talk to Kevin and Curt about his college education, some of the work he does outside of racing, how important timing is in motorsports, and how some drivers do not want to know their predicted lap times when they are trying to get faster.  In the final portion of the show, Kevin talks about the possibility of an IndyCar documentary on the CW.

Additionally, they discuss the comments that Ed Carpenter made regarding the addition and then some of the other notes from the press conference. Kevin touches on the news that Callum Illott will not be returning to IndyCar. Later in the first hour of the show, Kevin and Curt tell you how you can contact them with questions you would like them to answer on the show in the future. They also dive further into Illott not returning with Juncos Hollinger with Kevin providing some context to the situation. In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt reiterate some of the notes that they briefly discussed in segment two of the show. They dive into a little bit more of the names of drivers that they were giving you to keep an eye on with Pietro Fittipaldi returning to IndyCar with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. Additionally, they touch on some of the work that Marcus Ericsson has been doing with his new team. In the final half hour of the program, Kevin providing an assessment on the candy leftover from trick or treating that Kevin was passing out and rehashing some of the silly season moves.

The two also talk about Jamie Chadwick and the possibility of her competing in IndyCar soon.  Kevin rounds out the first hour talking about the reason IndyCar pit reporters no longer wear fire suits, and F1’s hostility to an Andretti F1 team.  In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt talk to Helio Castroneves. Castroneves talks about training rookie drivers that are coming into the sport, how Kyle Larson and Tony Kanaan have gotten along, and how overwhelming driving an IndyCar for the first time can be.  Indy NXT driver Louis Foster joins the show to recap his season, some of the mistakes he has made and learned from throughout his career, and what he likes about Indiana.  In the final half hour of the program, Kevin closes out the show talking about a new show that he will appear on.
