Tonight, Kevin and Curt talk about Josef Newgarden’s likeness being unveiled on the Borg-Warner Trophy. They talk about the likelihood of Josef winning the race three in a row, and how he is embracing that challenge. They also talk about Devlin DeFrancesco going to RLL for 2025. 

Later, Kevin and Curt take a look at the grid for the Indy 500. How many cars will we have? Will we have bumping? JR Hildebrand and Takuma Sato are discussed as possible entries for the race. They talk about Jamie Chadwick and her move to sports car racing. 

To round out the first hour, Kevin previews the second hour of the show. 

In the second hour of the show, Kevin and Curt answer some listener questions, including what the new TV deal will do for IndyCar. They talk about the demographics of FOX, and what would be considered a success in the first year of the series being on the channel. They also talk about Juan Pablo Montoya’s son Sebastian, and if he will race in IndyCar at some point. 

Later, Kevin and Curt talk to Ed Carpenter! Ed talks about running ECR, and he addresses the rumors of his selling of the team. He also addresses if anyone has tried to buy the team’s charters. He also talks about how the team has changed as he has partnered with Ted Gelov, and how involved Gelov will be on the team. 

To end the show, Kevin talks about Dennis Reinbold and his IndyCar team. He also talks about what a new IndyCar will look like, and how the owners reacted to a new design.
