The Pendulum Swings: Young Conservatives Rise Against Wokeness  | Charlie Kirk with Megyn Kelly

Recently, Trump administration figures have sent mixed messages about the efforts to end the Iranian nuclear weapons program. Republicans and the Israelis have worried that Trump may sign a deal similar to President Obama’s—with only marginal changes on verification. Trump spoke out this weekend by insisting on “total disarmament,” but still left the door open to civilian nuclear development.

This is the same trap that produced the JCPOA in 2015. The Iranian regime cheated on that while using the funds to support terrorism around the world. Assad has fled Syria, Hezbollah has collapsed, and Iran no longer has its forward threats to deter military action.

This may be the last opportunity to prevent a nuclear showdown in the Middle East. The time to hold Iran accountable for its nuclear weapons and offensive missile programs is now. We cannot allow Iran to hold the region and the world hostage any longer.

President Donald Trump sat for a wide-ranging interview with Kristen Welker from Meet the Press last Sunday.  The only headline to emerge, and it was everywhere:  “Trump Says ‘I Don’t Know’ When Asked About Due Process and Upholding Constitution.” That was the New York Times.  Versions of that were reposted everywhere.

 The answer was about criminal illegal immigrants in America; Welker specifically named Kilmar Abrego Garcia.  What the media did not report was that Donald Trump also said:  “I have brilliant lawyers that work for me, and they are going to obviously follow what the Supreme Court said.” That, of course, would not be a headline—Try to imagine: “Trump says he’ll follow the Supreme Court.”

 Trump was addressing what due process rights illegal aliens should receive; we’re talking rapists, murderers, batterers and gang members.  Are they the same as American citizens?  Of course not—and as for Garcia, he’s had several hearings already.  I, for one, am glad he’s in his home country, and not here.

Can a revolution come as a pill? Over the past century we saw first the birth control pill. And—much more recently—we have the abortion pill.

Both pills have served to reshape our entire moral landscape.

The abortion pill was promised and packaged as “safe.”

Except it’s not.

Just this past week, the Ethics and Public Policy Center released a major study—looking at upwards of 800,000 prescribed mifepristone abortions.

They found that no less than 11% of women had experienced “sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or another serious adverse event within 45 days following a mifepristone abortion.” 

This is how the culture of death works. It kills and it harms, and it lies. It directs its attack directly on the unborn. It deliberately ignores the “harm” intentionally inflicted on the unborn child and then misrepresents the risk of harm to the mother as well.

It runs on a high-speed rail of lies and then it piles further lies on top.
